Sizing is weird
I found this top awkwardly short (like more than I expected) and I just barely fit into the 10 with some coaxing, and I’m nursing right now but still-I think it runs pretty small.

5 star work top
I wore this to my first work event post baby with a pair of spanx brand dress pants (run don’t walk to get those too!) I sized up to a 10 because I’m nursing and I wanted some extra room in the chest, and I wore a black tank underneath. The top is beautiful and made me feel confident and comfortable. It is a great work top and looks pulled together and professional. I loved it! (I wish I had a pic)

Dollar store tablecloth but make it fashionable
The reviews do not lie. This material is weird. It reminded me of a dollar store tablecloth. However, it still gets 4 stars. Why? Because it made me feel confident at a work event 6 months postpartum. It also helped me find a colleague who was lost in the lobby. I got many compliments on the dress. The belt pulls it together and the twist at the neckline is really cute (you’ll want to use some fashion tape though to keep it in place). Yes the material is weird but I loved the bright color and felt good in this dress! I sized up because of my chest right now.

2 months postpartum
I’m 2 months postpartum and I wanted to feel confident and comfortable at my brother’s bridal shower. This dress was a good fit, so many compliments and comfortable. I loved the fun neckline, the asymmetrical bottom and the slit! FYI the slit is really high and wearing a bra is kinda weird because you’ll have to slightly push it off the shoulder.

I’m so sad because this is so gorgeous, the colors and embroidery are unreal. However I have a short torso and the fit of this dress made me look extra short waisted, and also it felt kinda short. Did not wear.

A lot of material
I didn’t end up wearing this, I loved the top and the sleeves and thought it was so pretty, but ultimately it was just too much fabric and I felt like I was drowning in the dress. I’m 5’7’’ so relatively tall but it just kinda swallowed me.

Probably not ideal for late pregnancy
I got this as a backup dress and it’s a color I never wear. I saw some other pregnant women in the reviews so I went for it. Personally I don’t think it was great for third trimester, maybe first or second. It wasn’t the most comfortable or easy to put on/take off. I did like the neckline. Also if it’s Thanksgiving and you’re very pregnant you might sort of look like a turkey?! (I wore a different backup to Thanksgiving for this reason) Overall it was ok, but probably not right for my current 38 week pregnant self.

Thanksgiving sweater dress at 38 weeks pregnant
I got this as a backup dress to wear to Thanksgiving and my husband’s birthday (same week) while 38 weeks pregnant and I loved it. I only had the large but it was a bit big in some areas, the medium probably would’ve been better but I made it work. I got tons of compliments on the dress and felt cute and fashionable in it which is not common in this stage of pregnancy! People really loved the color as well. I would recommend this dress!

Fashionable Tent
There’s a brand I love called Marimekko (I think it’s Finnish) and this dress reminded me of their patterns so I rented it. Sadly it was like a Marimekko tent. I’m 38 weeks pregnant and the medium was still much too large, I even tried adding a belt but then it just looked like...a tent with a belt. Did not wear, but I saw in reviews that it did look fantastic on some! Just not me.

Sad I didn’t get to wear this fun dress
The event was canceled so this dress did not leave my house but I did snap a pic! What a fun dress, I loved the color and pattern and slit and how it felt. The sizing seemed a little off, this is the large, the medium seemed awkwardly tight in the neck and arms so I gave up on trying it on! I did send this pic to friends and they all loved the dress. In this pic I’m 33 weeks pregnant wearing the large. It would’ve been great for a workday or a work event/fall or winter event. Rent it!

Not a showstopper but comfy and cute

Reunion after 12 years-wanted to feel confident at 30 weeks pregnant!
I wore this to my sorority reunion, I knew I would be seeing some people for the first time since 2010 so I wanted to feel comfortable and confident especially at 30 weeks pregnant. This dress was perfect. It was very comfortable to wear all day, I loved the color, and it flowed nicely. I probably should've ordered the 36 but kinda guessed on sizing to accommodate the bump-it was a little big on top but not noticeable. It was also great for the fall weather and the neck wasn't uncomfortable!

Pumpkin Themed Baby Shower, But Make It Fashionable
I wore this dress for my baby shower, I was 29 weeks at the time. It worked out but the sizing is kinda wacky. I wore a 6/8 pre pregnancy and in this dress I wore a 16! It was a bit big on top but I was shocked at how much I had to size up, the top and bottom seemed disproportionate. People loved the color, the ruffle sleeve and the bottom detail, it photographed well and fit the theme.

Underwhelming with lots of side boob
I attempted to rent this as a backup and they had limited sizing available; I'm also 28 weeks pregnant so that complicated matters. As other reviews said, the straps are hella long and the side boob is aggressive. Not my cup of tea but I usually love my rentals so hopefully next time is better!

SO MUCH POTENTIAL
I was so excited about this dress and I saw some of the reviews complained about the top being weird but I went for it anyway. Well it was gorgeous...from the ribs down. The top was awkwardly drapey and baggy. I looked like I was wearing door blinds and I tried salvaging it with pins and fashion tape but there was no hope. I wish I had taken a photo but I forgot! Did not wear.

Big Bird Chic (in the most positive way)
The dramatic sleeve doubles as a head covering when you’re trying to protect your hair, which has been expertly defrizzed twice in 24 hours by your cousin, from random Seattle drizzles. In addition, the color is bright enough for your family to easily spot you to let you know when the dessert table has been set out. 4 stars because the fit is weird, but I'm also 27 weeks pregnant. I wore the 14 and had to do some serious pinning and fashion tape on top. But, people were complimenting me all day!

My husband and I took a trip to the east coast for my birthday so I decided to rent this to wear to a fancy dinner on the wharf. Let me say it is GORGEOUS and people were stopping me all evening to compliment me. I usually wear a 6/8 but I'm 22 weeks pregnant, the 8 fit but the 10 gave me more coverage in the chest. You'll want some fashion tape, it's low cut. Also it's very bulky and heavy, it definitely took up half of my suitcase! So not the best if you're going on a trip but worth it!

Disco Bachelorette
My friend was having a disco themed bachelorette party so naturally I turned to rent the runway! This dress was a hit. I ordered the medium and large, the medium was a better fit. It was a little itchy under the armpits but as is life with sequins, other than that it was pretty comfortable. Warning it's pretty low cut so be aware!! I got many compliments on the dress when my friends and I went out on the town in our disco outfits! I'm so glad I rented!

I wanted to have corporate headshots taken but I didn't want to be like everyone else in black blazers so I went full Elle Woods. This dress is vibrant and I loved it! I'm usually a 6/8 but the 4 was the best fit, I'm glad I sized down. After my pictures I posted my headshot in my local Facebook group as a thank you (they helped me find a photographer) and I kid you not 5 people reached out to me and asked where to get this dress!!

People were approaching me all night to compliment me-everyone from the waitstaff at the wedding to guests I'd never spoken to! Also I got texts from friends asking where to buy! I usually wear a 6 or 8, I rented the 8 because the 6 was unavailable. Both would've worked. The dress is STUNNING, a beautiful color, sexy, and extremely comfortable. I loved it!

I usually prefer more structured coats but it was fun to try. It's such a beautiful color and adds pizazz to any outfit. It's unlined so it's perfect for those weird in between days. I wore it in California in the evenings when the temp would drop into the 50s. In my opinion it looks more fashionable opened, there's a button but I felt like it wasn't flattering closed. Also other reviewers complained about it being itchy because it's unlined but I wore long sleeves so I didn't have any issues!

Statement Coat!
I rented this to have something fun to wear on vacation and it definitely delivered!! It will add style to basic wardrobe staples. It was about 50 degrees and it was perfect, I was warm but not too hot. I got a lot of use out of this coat, I wore it on a trip and also to a wedding and to the mall! It gave me Blair Waldorf vibes in a good way. It's oversized and looks better open in my opinion. The only downside is that it seems to pill/damage kinda easily!

Showstopper gown
I rented this dress for a formal evening wedding and it was a HIT. I felt very confident in it and people were complimenting me all night which meant a lot because I was surrounded by gorgeous dresses. In terms of fit, I wore the 8L. The 6 was actually a better fit but for some reason was very short (though I ordered the 6L, maybe it was a mistake) but I wanted it to be the right length, so I just used some fashion tape to keep the top from gaping. It was comfortable to wear, very stretchy too!

Brother's Engagement Picnic
I rented this for my brother's engagement picnic (I understand that it was his day but I wanted to look good ok?!) I read the other reviews about it running small...I usually wear a 6 and I ordered a 6 and a 10 because the 8 was out of stock. The 8 probably would've been perfect. The 6 was very small. I wore the 10 but had to pin the straps, it ended up working out! It's a beautiful dress, can be dressed up or down, and people told me how much they loved it at the party!

Vintage Vibes At The Grand Hotel
I rented this for my birthday. My husband and I went for drinks at the Grand Hotel Mackinac Island which is like stepping back in time, so I wanted to follow that vibe. This dress was perfect for it! I got so many compliments on the dress. Both the 6 and 8 fit, but I wore the 8 because the boning was less "pokey" (many other reviews talked about the boning in the dress sticking out and being uncomfortable, this definitely happened). Also FYI the ties on the shoulders are adjustable!

Make a statement!
I wore this to a good friend's wedding in Philadelphia. I loved the bold color, the orange details, and the ruffle and asymmetrical bottom. People at the wedding came up to me all night to compliment me on the dress! You can tie the straps for the perfect fit. I only wish was that this dress had been a little roomier around the stomach/hip area (it seemed more forgiving in the photos online), I think that would've made it a 5 star rental!

Fancy Anniversary Date Night
2020 has been...something else so my husband and I decided to get dressed up for a rooftop patio anniversary dinner, and take some fancy photos to celebrate. I have had this dress in my "hearts" FOREVER so I rented it and was so excited. I am glad I sized up, because it definitely runs small. I loved the one sleeve, though it's slightly restrictive, and I have to say I received compliment after compliment from strangers as we walked around Detroit getting pictures taken. This is a beautiful dress, highly recommend.

Not-So-Practical Showstopper
Pros: -This dress is gorgeous. The details--sleeves, ruffles, high neck, slit--are amazing. I got so many compliments on it. -This was a great dress to rent for a chilly evening (outdoor microwedding). Cons: -I could not lift my arms!! Luckily there isn't much dancing at weddings nowdays, but if you're looking to raise the roof--good luck to you. -The slip under the dress rides up like crazy and I was very worried about flashing people. It's very short to begin with. Overall, this dress looks beautiful but wasn't the most practical.

Cute Top for Mini Getaway
I rented this top for a weekend trip "up north" (I am from Michigan) with my husband. We rented a sailboat and went out on a sunset cruise. This top was adorable. I tried it on with 3 different bras, but went with a strapless because the sleeves tended to fall, and I could rock the off-shoulder look without worrying about bra straps peeking out. It pairs perfectly with jeans (I recommend high-waist jeans, as the top is a little cropped, and I have a shorter torso) and is comfortable, stylish, and light. Highly recommend.

I've had this dress in my RTR hearts FOREVER and after a somewhat uneventful summer (#2020) I decided to rent it for a trip up north (northern Michigan) for wine tasting, etc. I got tons of compliments on the dress. It is really beautiful. I was excited because it did show up with the tie (a lot of people said that the tie was missing for them) so I got lucky! Some things to note: -In my eyes this runs VERY small. I am usually a 4 or 6 in most dresses, and I barely was able to wear the 8. I am not busty, but the bodice is TIGHT. -The dress is fully lined but sometimes the lining peeks out under the skirt-FYI -It is very beautiful in person, I highly recommend this dress!

I didn't end up wearing this dress, which I rented as a backup for a family wedding. It looks so innocent on the hanger, but it was way too sexy to wear in front of a bunch of relatives! The top is very tight all over, and honestly if you eat one noodle it shows, so I suggest spanx. Also, the bottom is flowy and beautiful, but the "tulip" style in the front is pretty short, so it's pretty revealing there too. For the right event this would've been great, but it's deceiving and I wanted people to know!

Evening Wedding Glam
I was so excited about renting this glamorous dress, and it did not disappoint! The dress is beautiful, well made, and classic but the details like the stripes and the "mullet" hem make it more interesting than a LBD. I was able to dance comfortably and I got many compliments. The only thing I didn't like was that the straps were WAYYY too long and the dress was very low cut because of it; I actually ended up tying the straps to make them shorter, and that still wasn't enough! So, be warned, but this is a gorgeous dress and I recommend it.

This wasn't my favorite rental though I did get tons of compliments, so maybe I was just hard on myself. I wore it for my birthday. The sizing was a little weird in that the dress fit very tight in the chest and arms (I have a small bust too, so I would be careful if you're busty) but fine everywhere else. There were some straps on the dress but they kept falling down. Also, the dress is a lot more pink than it looked in the photos. The hemline is cool, and it was pretty...I'm just spoiled by all of the other fabulous dresses I've rented, I guess!
