Loved the colors of this dress for a traditional indoor black tie wedding in the summer in Atlanta. The layers and the fabric made it much bulkier than I was expecting, however, and it made me look wider and bigger than I am - never great! I also felt like I had to add a belt to attempt to cinch in the waist a bit and add a pop of color. Without the belt, it hung and was too baggy on top (granted, I am pretty small chested for my height and size!).

This dress was perfect for Endymion Extravaganza (huge Mardi Gras ball) with a fun earring and metallic sandals (if you've ever been to this event, you know to wear flip flops - or sandals if you're feeling fancy!). Loved the slit in this - not too high, as well as the mesh parts of the shoulders. Classy but not too plain.

Was so happy to have chosen a backup style in addition to a backup size for my first choice dress, which was too tight for my weirdly wide ribcage. This fit perfectly, although ran a little long - I am 5'7" and was wearing 3.5" heels and the bottom caught on my heel multiple times! The color was a nice alternative to black without being too bold for an indoor spring black tie gala. The material was thin but the dress fell loosely, so it didn't show lines or bumps; it did wrinkly fairly easily, though!

Unfortunately, both sizes fit too snugly across my ribcage - and I do have a disproportionately wide ribcage, which makes side-zip dresses problematic at times! - so I was unable to wear this style.

This dress looks great, if you walk around with your hand on your hip or in your pocket. However, the cape sleeve tends to look droopy, hangy, sloppy, etc. if you're in any other pose. The waistband was also a little awkward for me, hitting higher than my natural waist but lower than just under my chest... I felt like it was either making my top half look too long or accentuating all of the hors d'oeuvres I'd eaten! Great concept but didn't execute well on me!

High-low dresses are not my favorite but my options were limited when renting last minute after a failed dress purchase. That said, this dress was pretty fun, travelled well, and got a few compliments. The material was pretty thick, so I wouldn't recommend it for an outdoor wedding anywhere warm; I wore it indoors in the fall in Texas. Fit true to size and generally felt comfortable. I did notice in some photos, it was falling funny, though - in one, it jutted out on both sides to points at the bottom, making me look like a (albeit, oddly colored) Christmas tree.

Was not expecting the top part of this dress to be pinstriped, but actually enjoyed that detail. The material was also a lot less structured than I was anticipating. Would not usually have considered this dress, but must have been feeling a little different... and so glad I did rent it! One size came with a bow at the top and one without; I chose the 4R, which did not have a ribbon, and thought it looked much better sans. The colors were subdued enough that I could wear this to a fairly small, traditional ceremony, with enough sparkle and lace to really stand out from the crowd at the reception. Wore it with nude heeled sandals and the Rebecca Minkoff Leo clutch, some simple dangly earrings, and an understated gold bracelet.

Usually not a fan of asymmetrical hems, I loved this dress' style, color, and material. The only thing that wasn't 100% was the fit of the sleeve, as it at times felt too high on my shoulder/neck but could not be pulled down without sitting strangely in the body/waist. Paired well with a nude heeled sandal like that on the model, dangly black tassel earrings, and a simple gold bangle; this was worn to a fairly casual summer rehearsal dinner. I would absolutely wear this again!
