I sized up in case the cut outs were tight- this brand runs tight in the rib cage sometimes. The shoulder ties were a total pain but once I finally got the right length, it was easier to wear. Not a lot off room in the chest but perfect for my size

I ordered a size up so it would be a little longer. Super cute, fabric is a little on the warm side for a sundress. The chest cinches with a string and the ties in the back allow for a lot of custom fit too.

I tried and tried and even rehearsed a couple times. Got the zipper to roll up once. Game time, couldn’t zip it up. Had to wear something else. I see that i”m not the only one with this issue. It’s a tiny zipper pull on thick fabric and it doesn’t work. T F

Big shirt dress trend
This is an interesting take on the big shirt ss a dress trend. It’s cute but it also looks like a giant men’s shirt tied around little apron, napkin or waitress pocket belt type thing. The top is huge, length is short but not too short and the waist size of the apron part is TTS, definitely not generous or adjustable. The apron buttons twice, hidden on the inside to hold up that end fabric and at the end where you can see the button. It’s a creative take on the trend. Wore it with sneakers. The fabric is not breathable so I found it to be a bit warm on my upper body

Depends on body type?
Usually items with cutouts make me look snatched or shaped at least. somehow I looked totally flat and rectangle. I ordered a size up and it fit- other reviews said the buttons pull if you go TTS - so I think this is true. This is probably best if you are really tall (hit at the knee I’m 5’6) and/or have a much bigger chest.

Prettiest color
I’m barely 5’6- if you are very petite , this one could be for you! Not for me. This one was tragic. The color is so gorgeous I was instantly in love. I ordered up as advised and it fit, a little loose but nothing bad. Until I saw how baggy the back was. The sleeves looked nicer to me worn on the shoulder but I quickly realized how much and how fast this short dress rides up. So I wore it like the model but every time I moved my arms, it slipped up anyway. Then I caught my rear view in the mirror. Yikes the bunching and weird seams. Could not wear. The fabric is so pretty I would almost buy it 2 sizes up and alter but then I’m making a dress. Sigh.

Very flattering cut , the small shoulder pads worked for me. Perfect middle ground of sexy and pretty. It’s a warmer fabric for summer but you will look so good you won’t mind.

Tiny and can't walk but pretty
Impossible to put on the xs without dislocating a shoulder. Size up at least 1. No stretch. Can't take a full stride walking; it needs a cut in back or sides. See through. Pretty color!

I really liked this; the flattering darts on the chest, the color, the decent texture of the fabric, the flattering short length that wasn’t too short. But I think it was just me feeling myself- I got zero compliments or commentary. Sometimes a fit is like that. It would probably be more remarkable on somebody with more curves. Runs TTS/slightly large.

Pretty fabric VERY short
This will probably not fit a big chest. Also I'm only 5'6 but this was obscenely short - also because the tight top makes it ride up. It hit me just a couple inches under my crotch. Tragic. I did not dare even though it's very cute. Perhaps if you are very petite, don't mind the risk or if you have a short torso this will be great for you

I sized up based on reviews. Fit was great, shoulder pads a bit NFL but the silhouette is cute so, whatever. The dress hugs your curves, hits midthigh & feels comfy. WHILE YOURE STANDING IN FRONT OF A MIRROR. Luckily, I ran a quick errand before I went out. In 15 paces, this thing rides up and the center skirt is .5-1 inch below your actual crotch. Yank it down 6 inches, repeat. I tried walking with tiny steps , doesn't work. It's cute but don't say I didn't warn you. I shuffled home & changed

Proportions were strange on me
I think this might look better on somebody with a shorter torso and big boobs- because that’s what I don’t have. Or maybe somebody really tall? The shading and other proportion aspects were NOT flattering on me. I only wore it with a same-length belted sweater to most of it, showing only part of the skirt. Then it looked cute.

It is definitely sheer
Great design with the cutout, flattering. It is sheer so it depends on your comfort level and the lighting where you’re going. I’m not sure why they made a dress that thin and sheer like a swim cover up.

Almost Awesome
This checked so many boxes; cute tie dye, romper, well constructed. I have a longer torso compared to legs so had to size up; 0 was too short to the crotch FYI if you also have my proportions. I really wanted to belt it but couldn’t work it out. I was feeling cute enough to leave the house when my brain finally called it. Barney. I look like Barney in this purple, baggy thing with the little t-Rex short arms. Did not wear! If I had long, gorgeous thin model legs I might have done it anyway but it was too gym shorts on my bigger gym thighs and the Barney thing..well, this was so close but just ultimately a no!

Cute Sleeves
Better for standing than sitting ; runs a little smaller than other XS crops but a size up would probably be too much. I tried that with an AMUR crop that has no give in it- the XS fits but sucks to sit in, belly pokes out because it’s so rigid. But the small is way to big. Very cute overall , wore with lettuce waist jeans so it wasn’t insanely much skin. This is quite cropped. Was able to drop in some boob padding; the shape of the top holds them in really well, because a B cup would be better than my A’s for this top.

There's a seam in the middle that makes the fabric not lie flush , it wrinkles and pokes up strangely. It was cute enough for a casual hang but disappointing overall. Could be that I'm long torso and that seam just didn't hit right. Very comfy!

Better for big upper body babes
The skirt part is cute and also quite short. From the waist up it is totally baggy. If you have enormous chest you want to showcase or half enormous and a bit of belly to hide, like a top heavy girl with great legs - this is your dress! I wanted it to work because the skirt is cute and fabric is nice but it was a no. I don't mind looking flat chested because I am. But the baggy waist thing was too much.

This smashed my tiny chest down even more and was very stiff fabric. The fit was sorta cute. It snaps closed which seems dangerous to me. I wore it for an hour with a jacket over it, figuring the puffy sleeves were cute at least. It didn‘t unsnap but this is not a shirt I need to mess with.

Itchy and ill fitting
The top is cutely designed. But this dress is itchy as all get out ; tried wearing high spanx like underwear to get some of the dress off my skin but that just makes the super short skirt ride up. The arm buttons have to be 2/3 unbuttoned because the sleeves are so freaking tight. Maybe a medium? The skirt is super short , shorter than the Isella because it rides up and also flares out. Really disappointing because it looks cute. If I needed this look again I would size up 2 w sleeved underwear

Almost amazing!
One of the most flattering & pretty designs for a skirt part of a dress EVER. The top is at least as problematic as the other reviews say. The straps are too long & have to be fastened somehow. The color is pretty but honestly washes everybody out - might be perfect on a person of darker color. I love the color but my friend was right, it washed me out. I still liked it a lot because the skirt was so pretty. The zipper was pretty tight, TTS/smallish because of where the zipper is on the ribs.

I don't get the hype
I felt like the great pumpkin in this. It's a lot of dress. If I needed something on a theme perhaps I would look for this. The top is tight and the skirt is a lot. Feels a bit like a wetsuit type material. It's quality and probably gorgeous out in the wild and on taller people. But I had this as a backup for going out to the opera and whoa that would have been a real miss if I'd worn in.

This is one epic item!
Runs perhaps a tiny bit big considering size 0 can be teeeny in some designers. This piece is MoMA worthy IMHO. Timeless, edgy but classic & so well designed. Love the other girls' pics showing how it can be classy or punk depending. I lost my mind over it and bought it. It is wooly/scratchy so plan to tuck your shirt in if that's a thing for you. I didn't find it to be short as others said but the slit on the left side is fairly high.

Very pretty but short in the straps
Beautiful dress, slight sparkle, pretty color. Material is somewhat heavy so it swings and lays really nicely. It fit really perfectly in the bodice but If i rented again, might size up because the straps are so short. Made my lats or whatever is under your armpits poof out a little, i really don’t need the dress right on my armpits. Don’t need/can wear a bra. I tried nude heels and also knee high black leather boots for going out vibes and it styles both ways. Didn’t get a chance to wear because I didn’t feel totally comfortable given the shortie strap situation .

Felt like forever 21 not a pricey premium piece
This doesn’t seem like an XS-everybody’s photos styled it tucked in neat but it’s baggy and pulls away from your body. I’m not a freak small person, size 25 jeans. If you have bigger boobs or are a little bigger..or maybe have the exact perfect higher waist jeans and an amazing belt…maybe. It’s double layer and each layer pulls away. Not a fan. Felt like it made me look older even if it did work.

Beautiful but impractical
This fits me perfectly until I need to breathe. Maybe i just have a long torso- but there is no flex to the fabric and it’s flush to my ribs. It zips nicely and fits beautifully but i need my ribs to expand to breathe. I also need the top to look flush to my body to look nice. Why not make it flexible or at least have the tight part below my ribs. I don’t need to eat in every shirt but i need to breathe. Def designed on a mannequin. Very pretty !

Very Pretty but some things to know
Beautiful color/fabric and design. I zipped it up w no problem like other XS by this designer. However, there is no give to the fabric and the narrowest area is in the worst place. I couldn’t take a full breath. It looks beautiful but must have been designed on a mannequin because breathing is a whole thing I need. I wore it for an hour because I’m stubborn. Not sure if sizing up would mean gapping or if it would just work better. Update-sized up and it was a joke, so big. Sigh.

Fix this piece please!
Beautiful idea- but it‘s totally see through so you have to have some expert bra. Also the tag by the left hipbone , meant to be removed, is actually enlarged by a RTR tag. It‘s a see through shirt and this tag is at the bottom edge and flips up. The kind of thing a well meaning friend would rip off for you like girl, your price tag is showing! Someone tell me if they move the tag so i can order a size bigger (to mask the necessary undergarment) without this ghetto tag sitch. Very pretty top idea !
