This dress exceeded my expectations! It was so comfortable and just dressy enough for a boho-themed wedding. I usually feel like a huge blob while wearing maxi dresses, but this hugged my belly just enough to give me some shape. For reference, I'm 30 weeks pregnant with twins, about 180 lbs (about 145 lbs pre-pregnancy), and 5'8". My bust is 36D here.

Overall, I thought the dress fit well and looked great in pictures. Cons - it is a little worn around the hem and sleeves (but this wasnt noticable to anyone but me). Also, the material always seemed a little wrinkled.. I lightly ironed the dress to no avail. The white stitching makes the silk ripple a bit no matter what. But I did get many compliments. :)

Seriously, great dress - but I have small hips and the dress was STILL very tight in that area even after I wore a size larger than I normally do. I probably could have gone up to an 8. Also, keep in mind, when you size up, the chest area gets roomier. I'm fine with that because I like the drapy look and I was wearing a large necklace that hid my bra, etc. for the most part. Fashion tape may be needed for some. Wear flesh colored underwear (thong might be the best since the dress is so tight on the buns). This dress isn't totally shear, but obviously don't wear black panties unless you want them to be seen. :) Assistance may be needed when dressing yourself as well. There are very small buttons in the back that are difficult to snap when you can't seen them. Overall, I received many compliments. Faaaabulous color!

I wore this to a wedding rehearsal dinner (boys in ties and blazers - a formal affair) so this was totally the perfect choice. Can't go wrong with black and the low back is very classic and elegant. The dress fit great - the skirt hit slightly above my natural waist so anyone that is a little insecure of their mid-section, this dress is very forgiving. It wasn't too short, but still sexy - the hem hit about mid thigh. The material was soft and overall very comfortable. My only complaint is that I had thought the skirt would be a little fuller and had more body (hence the 4 stars). Also, I suggest ordering a size smaller than what you might usually wear.

This necklace does have some weight on it, but it wasn't bothersome at all. Very well-made. I wore this for a wedding rehearsal dinner and paired with a little black dress (BCBG "Guilty As Charged"). Totally brought the look up a notch. Love.
