Loved this dress- would rent it again. I wore it for a black tie optional wedding, got multiple compliments on it. Top is classy and the bottom adds a little something to it- some people say they wore it for work functions but between the more fitted waist and on an hourglass shape I would wear this for an evening out or cocktail. Fabric is thicker which is nice, the tie around the middle is not adjustable but I had no issues with that.

I am a 10/12, based on reviews I got both the L and XL. I did not end up wearing hte dress, but would've worn the XL had I worn it. Sizing was tough- I am smaller up top and while I thought the ties would allow for flexibility on sizing, even tied at their tightest, the XL was still too big up top. I really liked the dress, but weather was going to be hot and this was an outside wedding and the material is definitely one that would've shown every drop of sweat so I went with a darker dress.
