I am 5'2 and can usually wear a "regular" length RTR dress with 4-inch heels. This dress was still touching the floor with 6-inch platform heels. Also, this dress is better suited for someone with a longer torso. I have a shorter torso, so there was extra fabric from my waist to bustline. If you are tall and slim, this would be a stunner!

I love, love, love this dress and my husband said it was his favorite RTR to date! I wore this to a wedding in Key West. It was very comfortable and very forgiving (I am thicker in the middle than I care to be). The color is gorgeous and the length was perfect despite my petite height. The only bad thing was the snaps were sewn in incorrectly for the belt, so I could not wear the belt. It looked fantastic regardless, so I am still giving it 5 stars. It was sexy and sophisticated and I got compliments all night long.

This was the perfect dress to wear to a conservative function. The colors and lace detail are beautiful and it really stood out in a sea of black dresses. The length was great, even though I am petite (5'2), it still felt like a proper mini. The only reason I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the waist was cut a little high - and I do not have a long torso at all, so I can not imagine how it would be on a person with a long torso.

This was my back-up dress and I did not end up wearing it because I liked my first-choice dress so much more. However, I would not rent this for another event because the sequins under the arms were very uncomfortable. It bothered me just trying it on and walking around a little in it, so I cannot imagine how it would feel all night long. The fabric was also not as heavy as I would have liked (not nearly as expensive feeling as the Badgley Mischka sequined dress I ended up wearing). However, the color and cut is very nice.

I normally shy away from black dresses, but this one stood out to me because of the cut and the sparkle of the sequins. I rented this for a convention event and it was just perfect. It was sexy and fun and very flattering. Since I am petite (5'2), I am always apprehensive about the length, but this was actually a proper mini on me (so tall girls beware!). The neckline was low-cut enough to be sexy but not improper for the event. The sleeves were slightly too long though, so I just pushed it up higher on my arm giving it a billowy effect. I loved the color and movement of this dress and the cut was very flattering. The only reason I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars is that I felt like it was better suited for a taller person (I am only 5'2). In order to have it fit properly, I had to tie the halter at the neck much more closely than I would have liked, so the neckline did not sit as low as I prefer. It still looked great, but I think it would have been sexier on a taller woman, since more leg would show and the neckline would be lower.

I wore this dress to a friend's wedding and pretty much every woman I spoke to complimented the dress - and even some men made a point of complimenting the dress. My husband absolutely loved it. It was sexy, but still classy. The length was great even though I am petite, and the fit was flattering for my waist section, which is not as thin as I would like! I would definitely rent this one again.

I wore this dress to an outdoor fundraiser. It was perfect because it was not overly dressy and it was very comfortable to wear. I usually wear a 6, but only an 8 was available. It was a little too big for me, but due to the draping it was not noticeable. The length was longer than I would have preferred on my petite frame, but all-in-all I enjoyed the dress very much.

I rented this dress for a fundraising party, so I wanted something that was conservative, but still sexy. I absolutely loved this dress - and so did my husband. I originally ordered a cream colored Nicole Miller Mermaid Gown, but due to the crazy weather across the country, deliveries were delayed so it would not arrive in time for my function. I give RTR's customer service credit because a representative named Justine called me and e-mailed to let me know my first choice would not make it in time. I understand that there are forces of nature - like blizzards - outside of RTR's control. Justine gave me enough notice so that I could choose another dress, and RTR let me choose any price point to make up for the inconvenience. So I chose this dress, which was much more expensive than the Nicole Miller dress. The dress was stunning. I ordered a 4R and 6R and wore the 4R. With 4-in heels that had a slight platform, the length was perfect with my petite frame. Please note that you cannot wear a bra due to the open back, and the material is sheer and light colored. So I wore a Nu-Bra (what my friends and I call the "chicken cutlets") and it worked perfectly. Also, when you lift your arms, the side with the draped fabric can flap, which makes you feel like you may be exposing something - so I would also suggest double-sided tape for the under-arm area. Other than that, this dress is elegant, sexy, and very comfortable.
