This was my back up dress and it ended up being a bit large and looking a little dowdy on. I was also surprised that the pattern detail is a shiny metallic lavendar rather than a silver. My regular dress ended up working so I just didn't wear this one.

I wore this dress for a wedding last weekend - the rich berry color made it a great choice for a December event. Some delivery complications ensued and when my package finally arrived, my free back up size was not included. I was very concerned because the 4 was very tight and I couldn't get the zipper up past the peplum seam at the waist by myself. The zipper was very difficult to zip because of the seam even for my boyfriend but after it was zipped the dress was definitely on the snug side but very comfortable. The fabric is quite thick but very stretchy and flattering. All in all, I was very happy with this choice.

This was my backup dress - huge relief that I had it since my original dress didn't fit. The print is very beautiful and the fit is very comfortable. The hem is fairly tight so it does somewhat impact your ability to go up and down stairs but it was very manageable. Its a very thin fabric and the draping at the side is flattering.

I ordered this for a wedding this past weekend and I should have heeded the other reviewers. I ordered my normal size (4) and one size up. I could technically squeeze myself into the size 6 but it was not flattering or comfortable at all. In particular, the ribbon "belt" at the waist makes it a partifularly tight fit. Fortunately, I had ordered a backup that I knew fit so it ended up being fine but I really wish I had gotten the 6 and the 8. I'll have to give it another try next spring!

I added this dress as a second option to my order after my back up size in my original dress became unavailable at the last minute. Its a very pretty pattern but it didn't quite fit me properly. It was quite snug in the dark band around the waist. It would have been fine except that not only were the hips loose, but there were pockets (which I hadn't realized). In general, dresses with pockets tend not to be flattering on me. In this case, the snug waist and the additional volume due to the pockets exaggerated the silhouette in way that I didn't love. I could have worn it, but fortunately my original dress fit perfectly so I stuck with that. Its a light silky material and I think it could have used an ironing before wearing. Also, on arrival the tie at the neck was completely removed from the dress and it took me quite a while to re-thread it before I could try it on.

This dress was a very beautiful color and pattern and I got many compliments throughout the night. I love the detailing around the neck. I wore the 4R and it was a little bit long even with three and half inch heels. There is an above the knee slit in the back and my heel kept catching a small bit in hem, which made me a little nervous on the dance floor. Customer service was awesome - I'm normally a 4 but had ordered a 2 as my backup since I had read reviews that it ran a bit large. Janna contacted me the morning before the dress was due to arrive and told me that the 2R was no longer available. She offered me the opportunity to add in a back up dress free of charge to make sure I had something that fit. She was quick and responsive and I really appreciated her attentiveness. The 4R ended up being fine and I utlimately liked it better than the back up I chose so I ended up sticking with my original choice!

I wore this to a wedding this weekend. It was a gorgeous orange color and the 4 fit great (I didn't even need to try on the 6). I am an hourglass and didn't have any issues with the middle part bunching as some of the other reviewers mentioned. It showed a good deal more cleavage on me than the model so I was little nervous about it for the wedding but ultimately it ended up being fine, especially since it came almost to my knees.

I wore this dress last weekend to a wedding. I've worn a size 4 (and ordered my backup) for every dress I've gotten from RTR. For this dress, I think I would have been more comfortable in a size 2 as it was very, very baggy in the front. Combined with the drape in the lower back, it made me look large in profile. I was able to pin one side so that it fit more like the picture so it ended up working out fine.

This dress is a beautiful color but the fit was a little tough for me. Both the 4 and the 6 were quite small in the chest for me - the boning gave my breasts a slightly strange shape from a profile view. The 6 was too big in the waist and hips so I ended up going with the 4. It ultimately ended up fine, but I can't say it was the most comfortable dress I've ever rented.

I wore this dress to a wedding in Massachusettes last weekend and was wonderful! It was very appropriate for a afternoon church wedding, although I did think that it might have been better for spring than fall. It fit pretty true to size. The color was a bit darker than I expected but still beautiful. I didn't notice this from the picture but the fabric is somewhat of a crushed silk look. The only caution would be that the skirt doesn't taper towards your knees and the ruffles have the potential to get a little funky.

This dress was very beautiful. I fit both the 4 and the 6 and ended up wearing the 4 to a charity event. Like others, I wore the arm detail underneath my arm instead of as shown on the model. I would say that it seemed somewhat large in the neck/shoulder area. Even with the 4, the sleeve with no detail ended up being kind of angled over that shoulder. It looked fine, just slipped a bit during the night. Still it was beautiful and I would definitly wear it again.
