Might be an awkward fit if you're pear-shaped. The size 4 was more comfortable in the hips but too big up top, so I went with the size 2. I had to use pasties because my strapless and stick-on bras peeked out from the sides. This dress does not hide pudge at all. All that being said, I got so many compliments on this dress. The extra effort was worth it.

The color is gorgeous and the material feels durable but not heavy. I got more than one compliment that evening and people asked me where the dress was from. I think there was too much fabric at the top for me--it bunched up a bit and there was some space in between the straps and my skin. But this is a reccuring problem for me, and at least the straps never completely fell off my shoulders. To echo others' statements, the dress was a bit too long for me-- it ended well below my knees. Also, the see-through window starts off pretty low. I had to adjust the dress a few times during the night to make sure my strapless bra wasn't visible. This might not be the perfect dress if you're a petite person, but you'll still look cute and classy in it!
