I loved this skirt in theory bur I felt a little silly wearing it. It got a lot of looks but I am not sure if they were positive or not. I also got a "pirate" vibe from the stripes. I wore it with flats and I think I should have styled it with heels. The material was thick and swingy.

I ordered this dress as a backup because RTR was doing a promotion. I really did not like the color, fit or material of this dress. It was more off white than white. I thought it should be shorter, and I am 5'10". I felt like it was made out of material that an ice skater would wear. Definitely not my style, and I didn't have the right accessories to style with it. Overall, it was a failure for me, but perhaps it would look right on a person with a darker complexion or with the right styling.

I love the peekaboo racer back of this dress. I wore it to a friend's 30th Birthday dinner and thought the sparkle added some fun to my night out. I wore it with black tights and black heels and my hair in a ponytail. I kept the jewelry simple, with only a large cocktail ring. I am tall so the size up was a better fit as it was a little short for me. I like that the waist leaves a little forgiveness but the excess material made me feel a little like it was excess weight on my belly area. Overall, I think the dress was a success and it is a pretty party dress.
