Beautiful detail and deep raspberry color, but the torso was too short for my taller frame. As a result, the chest area and waist ran too high. It is a 3/4 sleeve but because of the way it balloons it just looked a little sloppy. I think it would fit better if the person was shorter.

I normally wear a size 4/6 and the size 6R fit my nearly third-trimester baby bump with ease. I'm 5' 9" and the R length was fine with flats, but you'd want the L for heels. The dress is more raspberry-red than cherry-red, the material is comfortable but clings a little - you'll want good foundation garments to smooth out lines. Looks great with dark hair. I wore it to a formal date and then to the ballet.

This dress was in poor shape - it had clearly been worn a ton and showed it. The straps were dingy and frayed and the lining was pulled and slightly discolored. Further, it came without a sash/belt, despite having loops for one. It was my backup dress and I didn't wear it . The fit was fine but big - I'm 5' 9" and the long would fit me in flats, but would definitely be too long if you were 5' 6" or under. I'm also pregnant and normally wear a size 4/6 and the 6 left ample room for my nearly-third-trimester bump.

This dress got so many compliments on this outfit. The dress runs true to size and is quite close-fitting, so if you're truly between sizes, I'd take the one up. Dress hit at the knees with a quite full skirt. The red sash was very flattering and draws attention to the waist. I shifted the top around for a bit to get it to sit properly, but once it did it stayed all night. Can't say enough good things about the dress. The only downside, mentioned in other reviews: the zipper is very difficult to get up - would advise having someone around to help.

I am usually a 4 or 6 (usually a 4) and the 4 in this dress was a little small, whereas the 6 was a smidge large. Went with the 6 and was happy I did because the dress is well tailored and the 4 would have shown every place where it was tight. The top portion is more of a linen color than white, and the black overlay is delicate and pretty. Zip up back and front pleats at the waist. Perfect or a party or for a nice day at church.

The earrings are lovely, but pretty big - about the size of a quarter or dollar coin. I was expecting something more dainty. One was also missing a backing, but I made do with one I had laying around.

Very pretty dress, with gorgeous thigh-high slit and beautiful lace trim. I didn't end up wearing either the 4L or 6L that I was sent, however, because the "waist" of the dress was well up my ribcage, so the sash/belt would have gone around the bottom of my ribs rather than my actual waist. I'm not particularly long-waisted, so I was a little surprised. I wore the backup dress instead, which was fine, but not nearly as pretty!

Really thought the dress was pretty, good length on the 4L and otherwise pretty and great with my skin tone. Had only minor "wear" (threads coming off, a red wine stain near the hem). The top, however, was not very well constructed and kept falling down. I tried it with both a strapless bra and without. I've not got a huge bust (34B), but enough to hold up other strapless dresses. The top just kept shimmying down all night, and I wasn't even dancing but just standing and sitting. Very frustrating.

The necklace in the photo has the jewels arranged in a certain manner (from end to end, with a center one pointing down). The necklace I was sent, while very similar and pretty, had each jewel attached at the "top" of the jewel, and no center jewel.

I had EXACTLY the same experience as Rose 40yr 5'9 130 commentator. I got both the 4 and 6, but they only sent the size 6 belt which does not fit the size 4 dress (which is the one that ended up fitting me) because of the snaps. Can't go without the belt because the snaps are sewn on and very large. Waste of $.

Liked the dress, as it was very pretty. I have a long torso and the waist on this dress was about 1.5-2 inches too high for me, so it cinched in around the bottom of ribs, rather than at the waist. I'm a B-cup but the dress was also gapping on the sides because I have a smaller torso, so I had to employ a fair amount of double-sided tape. I thought it was beautiful, but wouldn't rent again because of the fit issues.
