I fell in love with this dress the minute I saw it on RTR and thought it was the perfect dress to wear to a friend's black-tie wedding in Palm Beach. It was so perfect, in fact, that another stylish friend showed up in the same dress! We laughed it off and had fun being twins all night, but oops, so much for not drawing attention away from the bride on her wedding day! Otherwise, this dress was gorgeous- I'm tall, so the tall size was necessary with heels. The dress is elasticized at the back, so you can definitely size "down" to keep it from feeling tenty. I also recommend a backless stick-on bra as your nipples will likely show without it.

I loved wearing this sweet, girly dress. It was perfect for the daytime event I was attending, and I got lots of compliments on it. That said, there are two things to keep in mind if you are considering renting this: it has an empire waistline- the skirt flairs out from right under your bust, not at the natural waist, so if that isn't usually your cup of tea, it might not work for you. Also, the skirt is pretty short. I'm 5'9" and the skirt hit mid-thigh- so maybe 8-10" below my butt in the back. I wore it to play in a croquet tournament, so I had to be very careful to remain ladylike while bending over, etc. No big deal- it wasn't obscene or anything, but if you're tall, it's not quite as demure as it looks in the picture.

This dress is really flattering and demure, with a little something sexy about it. However, it runs pretty large, and when too big, can sort of hang like a sack on your frame. The ties are sewn in, so it is not adjustable at all. I'd recommend ordering a size down from what you normally wear.
