I received so many compliments from everyone! The fabric is stretchy but I still wore high-waisted spanx shorts because I didn't want my underwear to show. This dress hugs you. I'm 5'3" and I was able to wear flats though when I was walking I did have to hold up the front of the dress so I wouldn't step on it. It was a little hard zipping up the dress because whoever wore the dress before me snagged some of the fabric near the zipper. I wore breast cups instead and it worked out great.
