Comfortable but buttons do not stay buttoned
The buttons are barely functional so do not expect that they stay together with fashion tape or another effort. Regardless I loved this look and received several compliments.

Waist is teeny — size up by 2
I rented the set and thought it was super cute together. However, I couldn’t fully zip the shorts as the waist is teeny tiny with no stretch. The shirt is baggy and long enough in the back to still wear the shorts not fully zipped. I usually wear a us 0-2, rented up to the size 8 and still needed a bigger size.

Runs SOOO large!
For high-waisted shorts, these were soo big in the waist. I usually wear a 0-2; I rented the 2 since the 0 was unavailable but I think even the 0 would have been too big. I considered safety pinning the waist in hopes the tie from the shirt would cover it but decided it was too much of a hassle and wouldn't have been comfortable wearing.

Cute and flowy
Nice and airy for an outdoor bbq. I liked the longer length in back so I could wear belted to give a bit more structure without it being too short in the back. My only issue was that the hem was falling out at the bottom and in the sleeves. I hadn't noticed till I put it on for my out-of-town event so I wore anyway.

A bit short
I was more conscious as usual in this dress to make sure I didn't raise my arms too much because the length was shorter on me. Worked well for work meetings where I was mostly sitting.

Tight at chest
The buttons are a bit hard to fasten and I had to un-button a lot of them just to get in it. Very tight around the chest area that caused a very odd look on me. The chest band gave me almost a push-up effect that may work better on a flatter chest.
