A night to remember in an unforgettable gown!
This gown is it, ladies. I received more compliments on this gown worn for a military ball than I have for any other gown rented thus far. The color is STUNNING in photos (and in person of course!) and it's very comfortable. As always I'd recommend wearing some sort of shapewear underneath (you can get away with it since the lace only goes to mid-back) because this gown will otherwise show every lump and bump. The lace is not lined but it's a larger pattern and it definitely kept me warm when we took our pictures outside (thank goodness!). My fiancé LOVED this dress for how it hugged my curves (and flatters your rear!) and I loved it for how gorgeous it made me feel. You will need to have someone help you zip it up as the zipper gets a little snagged in the transition from the crepe to lace (lace is also GORGEOUS). Another great rental - thank you RTR!

Perfect touch of vintage flair!
These earrings were perfect - I wanted something with a vintage vibe that wouldn't be too flashy with my gown (which was the ML Monique Lhuillier "Wrapped in Blue" gown - also to die for but had enough going on it didn't need too much embellishment). Loved them - they were comfortable and didn't even feel like I was wearing earrings.

I would have LOVED to wear this dress, but due to "technical difficulties" with the plane shipping the dress, it didn't arrive in time for my event. HOWEVER, I chatted with stylist Rachel TB who was incredibly helpful - the dress was re-routed back to the warehouse and I received a full refund. I wanted to ensure she is recognized for the excellent customer service.

All righty RTR-ers, I wish this were more plainly spelled out before I rented. I'm 5'5" and a half and went with a MR because I didn't want to be stepping on my gown all night. The dress fit perfectly, EXCEPT for the hem, which was about 2" too short - I wore gladiator sandals, so it wasn't heel height that was the problem. The jersey is typical jersey fabric - I don't think it warrants a $160 rental (or the "value" of the dress) and I wore spanx to smooth everything out because it does show quite a bit otherwise. I wish this rental included fashion tape because I did need to tape the keyhole in order for it to look appropriate for the affair. I also did not wear a bra (I'm a C-cup) and it worked out OK (it's a dual-layered jersey fabric, and in the black I didn't feel exposed). I bought a vintage belt online and if I hadn't belted the dress it definitely would've left me shapeless. I think it needs a belt for full effect. I give this dress a 4/5 stars because of the length, but it was otherwise PHENOMENAL. Another great rental from RTR :)

This gown was absolutely stunning. Photographed phenomenally well. Wore for a military ball.
Pictures don't do this gown justice. I had many women come up to me during the night to comment on how beautiful it was..."unique" as well. I felt like a princess, but by far the best moment of the night was seeing my boyfriend's reaction as I walked up to meet him before entering the ballroom. We got around the zipper issue by simply inspecting the zipper before trying it on - I had two girlfriends on standby just in case. It seems as though - especially along the zipper - there is a second layer of sequins/sequined fabric, and it's very easy to get the zipper caught if you're not careful. As long as you have some extra hands, it's not too difficult to zipper. I ordered the 6L because I'm 5'6" and thought I'd be wearing heels. With or without heels, I had to hold my dress up the majority of the night. If I were to re-do anything about my rental, I'd have rented the 6R. Overall, though, a beautiful dress for a wonderful night!
