I rented this for a fall wedding and had high hopes from all the great reviews on here but was sadly disappointed. It ended up just being way too short on me. I'm 5'7 and it just felt too risque for a classy wedding. Plus the lace did not fall below the hemline like it did in the pictures here so maybe the dress I got was slightly worn or shrunken. Either way if I tried renting this again, I would try a size up.

This dress is fabulous. It was the first dress I tried on at the RTR showroom and I almost didn't continue because it was so perfect. The color is a vibrant red, the fit is great (I would say size down because you want it to be form-fitting) and the cut of the dress is extremely flattering and forgiving. I wore this to an outdoor summer wedding and was super happy with my choice. It was comfortable but flattering and I got a ton of compliments. Oh and it has pockets! I wish I could own this dress!

This dress is gorgeous! I wore it to a black tie event and it was perfect for the occassion. The fit is definitely snug and form fitting but that's how the dress is designed. I didn't end up wearing a bra because there was enough support in the bodice of the dress to work just fine. The best part of this dress is the cut out back - it's unexpected and provides an unexpected surprise. I'm taking one star away only because as others have mentioned in the comments, the dress did show a few signs of wear, along the hemline and the hooks on the top back of the dress that hold the whole top/back section up kept coming un hooked throughout the evening and at one point a stranger in bathroom actually had to re-hook them for me. Other than that, the dress is definitely a win.

A few thoughts - at 5'7, this ended up being short on me. I originally planned on wearing nude heels but after trying the dress on and realizing how short it was, changed my strategy to black tights and black pumps, which worked out well. As other reviewers have mentioned, the piping is actually a dark navy rather than black. The fit of the dress is great - it's a little form fitting on top but totally comfortable and easy to move and dance in. It's hard to see from the picture but there is a little keyhole in the chest - it's not too revealing but adds a fun, flirty touch. I would highly recommend this dress to anyone who wants to stand out at a wedding or formal event!

It would be great for a formal event or event lke a New Years Eve party where you want to look jazzy and stand out. It definitely does run small so plan to go a size down. The fit is extremely comfortable - the fabric has a little bit of stretch to it so you'd definitely be comfortable wearing it. I would definitely recomend renting this dress for an event if you want to stand out!

This dress is exactly as everyone describes it - tight, elegant and great if you want to really stand out at a formal affair. I rented it for a black tie fundraiser and it was perfect for the event. I was thrilled with the fit and although the dress was tight, it was overall very comfortable to wear. I would definitely rent again.
