Wore this to a black tie optional wedding. It was very comfortable and easy to dance in. The slit is not high and the dress was great length for heels if you're shorter (I'm 5'3"). There was no drag on the ground. The dress has an open key hole look in the front but it's barely noticeable with the draping. The dress is navy in very bright light or sunlight, but at most evening events it will look black...even next to my husband's navy suit it looked black.

I wore this dress 4 months pregnant with my second baby and it fit perfectly. The 4-5 months of pregnancy have always been the most difficult for me to find something to wear -- you don't really have a big bump yet but you can't wear any of your other clothes anymore. I ended up wearing the same size I'd normally wear as the dress has a good amount of stretch. I was able to show off my bump and still wear something beautiful for my friends intimate wedding.

Great wedding dress! I was never pulling anything up down or over on this dress. The slit is low and hard to tell it's there, but allows you to walk and dance comfortably, so it was more of a functional feature of the dress. This is a great dress for dancing! I did have to wear a bra to fill out the top and I added the gold belt.

The length was perfect with 2.5" wedges and I'm 5'3". If you're short, I highly recommend renting a petite for length. This dress could have been a smidge tighter, but I prefer not to feel too sucked into a dress. I felt completely comfortable moving around a boat and dancing in this dress, I could have stayed in it all night. I received a ton of compliments on this dress, particularly on the back. It's a beautiful, stand-out dress that's sophisticated and fun. Highly recommend!!

I wanted this dress to work so bad as I love the color and it is a well-made dress, but if you're petite choose a different dress. I ended up returning this and buying a dress as the dress came below my knees (I'm 5'3") and the back was very loose and puffed out (my torso wasn't long enough).

A beautiful dress that stood out while fitting in. I wore spanx and a regular strapless bra and just had to pull down the spanx/bra in the back a little bit so it didn't show. It has a tight fit and it's very unforgiving. Unlike other expensive dresses that will suck you in and create a waistline, this all silk and assumes you have supermodel abs so I would suggest spanx with this dress. The dress was dragging on the floor a bit with 3-inch heels so I just barely made the regular size work in terms of length (I'm 5'3"). Overall, I was very happy with this dress and received a lot of compliments.

I wore this dress for a wedding and received many compliments. It's not my favorite RTR dress in terms of style but it was my boyfriend's favorite. If anything I would say this dress runs a bit big in the chest. I wore a strapless adhesive bra. The back was very pretty and there was no need for fashion tape and the zipper laid flat. It was easy to move around and dance in.

This is a beautiful dress and definitely a show stopper. I ended up not wearing this dress because I thought another dress was more appropriate for an outdoor wedding but plan on renting for other occasions. I went up one size to a size 2. The dress is incredibly tight and a bit difficult to get into but once you're in it sucks you in, but you still feel like you can move around. I was able to wear a normal strapless bra in this dress and there was no exposure except for on the front side, but that could easily be corrected with fashion tape. The dress hit just above the knee so it's sophisticated and sexy.

The dress runs true to size. Although I think I could have gone a size up and been fine too, but it wasn't available. I was a bit worried about this dress since I have a very short torso and can't seem to find dresses where the back zipper lays flat but because this dress is flared it wasn't a problem. It's tight in the waist and bust, but flares high enough to hide stomach imperfections. Note that because it is tight in the bust and waist you can't wear a tight bra...it shows all. I was able to wear a regular bra with this dress but had to pin it down in the back and use fashion tape on the straps to hide it. I was still comfortable in the dress overall. I was super happy with the fit and feel of this dress and would recommend it!
