This dress was for a black-tie optional wedding and it was perfect— super comfortable, didn’t get hot (it had a breathable mesh layer— amazing for velvet!), and received lots of compliments. We danced for hours in it. It was a nice length on me (5’6” tall) to both wear 3” heels for the ceremony/start of the reception and then swap into flats without dragging. I wore sticky boobs and it was perfect.

I ordered this as a back-up option for a nice wedding we were attending. It was a 10R (I typically wear a 6R) and I couldn't have gone any smaller. It was beautiful, very comfortable and wearable forwards or backwards (if the ruffle is too much for your style). I am in my second trimester and it was bump-friendly. I would've happily worn this dress if my first one didn't work out.
