Belting doesn't work
I got this thinking I would add shape with a belt but even that didn't work. I'm a size 8, petite and curvy. Ordered size 4 & 6. Didn't try the 6 as the 4 was huge and not fixable. When I added a belt, the rest of the material poofed up creating a balloon-like silhouette. It was nuts. The material is unworkable and doesn't flow. However if you're fine with the dress shape as is, might be worth a try as the color is beautiful and unique.

Sexy fun dress
This dress was pretty great. I was 5 months post partum and looking for something to make me feel sexy again but also hide my mom pouch... this dress did a decent job. The thick material and busy pattern helped camouflage my non-flat stomach. I am about 150lbs at 5'2" and usually an 8 or 10. The 10 in this dress was too big - there was extra material around the waist that looked sloppy and the top stuck out so much because of the wiring that it was unwearable (maybe ppl with larger bust wouldn't have the same problem but on me it looked ridiculous). However the 10 pulled less around my stomach and for that reason made me less self conscious. The 8 fit better all around so I wore that despite my concern about it emphasizing my mom pouch. Probably just being too hard on myself - looking back I felt great in it. Beautiful fun colors and a headturner.

Festive dress!
This material is so festive, its a beautiful navy with a sparkle/sheen (better color than the picture on the model). I am only 5'2" so it was longer on me, like tea length, which worked. I am about 150 lbs and curvy and the size small fit, so I think it runs a little big and you can order down. The sleeves were not too long on my short arms, so I personally think this is a good dress for a petite. The material fell beautifully and did not emphasize my stomach or make me self conscious at all. I tucked in the ruffle a bit around the waist to eliminate extra volume (super easy fix and it stayed all night) and I pinned the neckline just so I wouldn't have to worry about cleavage mishaps. Would be super cute on someone with a great bustline. Regular bra, no Spanx needed - easy dress to wear and festive for winter/ the holidays!

No brainer... just rent it!
As soon as I put it on, it was clear why this outfit has sooo many reviews and most of them are 5 stars. This is one of those garments that would be worth the money to buy and have in your closet forever because it is a timeless style, high quality material, and beautifully fit. I felt so confident in it and bet you will too :) Just one note about length - I am 5'2" and about 147 lbs... the pants required very high heels. If I'd had more time, I would have used fashion tape to hem the bottom and wear shorter heels.

Sexy & chic dress
I was nervous about this dress because of the cutouts, since I am not thin like most of the girls who have reviewed it (I'm 5'2" and about 150 lbs) and I thought the sheer panels might show lumps and bumps, but I think it ended up looking great. It's the perfect dress if you feel like embracing your curves. For undergarments I wore a strapless bra, which worked totally fine - just make sure you have a black one because it sometimes did peak out at the waist cutout. Also I wasn't able to wear spanx, which freaked me out since I don't have a flat tummy and don't want my bellybutton showing in a dress. I tried several types of spanx but they all cut me off about an inch below the waist cutout and created some weird roll above my waistline. So, I wore high cut thong panties instead that covered my middle but didn't cut me off at the top like spanx. The arms were literally 3 inches too long but I just folded them under. Also the length on the bottom was perfect on me but I still had to tug it down at times and I'm only 5'2" so I'm not sure how taller girls are pulling this off! Overall, I was really happy with this dress and would love to own it. BTW Sabrina at RTR - thank you!!!!

Beautiful colors, so comfortable!
I loved everything about this dress, and I felt so good in it. It fit beautifully and was the most comfortable long dress I've worn. The colors sometimes look faded in photos, but in person the pastel pink/purple shade is beautiful. For me it was a little long so I wore dressy nude patent wedges - they don't show under the dress (no slit in the back) and I was worried thin heels would catch the back, so wedges were the perfect alternative. The dress shows off curves because of the close fit, but the fabric and layers hide lumps/ bumps/ undergarment overflow... basically the perfect combo. I was so sad to send it back and would buy it in a heartbeat if I could find it. It's one of my favorite dresses I've ever worn and my fave RTR rental. I can't imagine it looking bad on anyone, because in the photos it looks beautiful on everyone!

My husband loved the dress so much, he asked if there was an option to buy.
This was my first rental and I was nervous, but very pleasantly surprised with how well the dress fit and how positive the entire experience was. This dress was beautiful and sexy and fit like a glove... my husband asked if there was an option to buy :) I am short (5'2") and curvy, and wear b/t an 8-10. After reading the very helpful reviews I ordered a 10 and 12 in this dress, and the 12 fit perfectly. The bottom hit about 2 inches above my knee so I was able to still wear spanx. Spent under $100 and felt like a million bucks! Would rent again in a heartbeat.
