Didn't like it
I thought there would be a light metallic in the threading - it is literally sequence sewn in. Ridiculous. But a good fit.

I didn’t mind that the top was large when I read the other reviews because I wanted coverage but it’s essentially the band size is massive. Such a shame, if I had like a giant binder clip like they do in fittings I could see how it should look normally.

I didn't pull it off
I wear a lot of oversized short sleeves button ups, but for some reason, I couldn't make this one look like I wasn't returning from a long day at the farm. Maybe it needed to be ironed or fit better or the gingham was too much. Only wore very casually.

the undergarment situation was tough. i ended up having a like slip/underdress that i didn't need so i cut out the back of it. it worked but seemed extreme. not sure why its not lined.

sized up for better fit
The zipper on these pants kept falling! I didn't want them too tight on my lower abdomen so I sized up making them loose in the waist. Maybe thats what caused it I don't know but I'm swapping.

probably better on tall or less busty person
I ordered a size too small but thats on me; I'm 4 months postpartum and just don't know how things fit. The bigger issue is it sits at the high waist then has these pleats - which I like - but they extend up another 1.5". So if you have big boobs or a short-ish (or even regular-ish) torso theres not enough space between the top of the skirt and your chest. I guess this is obvious from the photo now that I'm looking at it again. But it's still a cool skirt, just needs a different body type than mine.

Not what I was expecting
The fit wasn't terrible though it kind of puckered on me through the ribcage. I didn't wear it because it was more formal than I realized - thought from the sleeves that it was a knit dress but the bodice is a heavy tailored material.
