Great for birthday date night
Such a fun color and print! Enough give for dancing, eating, running around the city on my birthday. Dressy without being too formal for date night. Even though it was late June, we had a cold snap so I layered with a sheer mesh top and some leather booties but it gave a rock n roll vibe! I loved this dress!!

I adore Ulla Johnson and have loved so many styles. This was not one of them. It was unflattering in every way - sleeves much too ballooned for this casual of an outfit, did nothing for my hourglass except give the impression that I might be expecting, and even the color looked “dirty” instead of linen.

Ok, this was a weird one. I loved it, mostly. The color was great, the details fun, the skirt nice and airy. It’s relatively easy to wear without a bra EXCEPT with all the criss-cross straps on top, the designer neglected to leave enough fabric over the right boob for it to overlap securely. If you’ve got even a modest amount of breast and not constantly this could gap and your whole right breast will fall out!! It really reminded me of the overlap of fabric from nursing tops - but less fabric.

Get some tape and pray
I wanted to love this dress so much. I lived the backless detail, the color, the lightweight feel for summer. But I’m not busty for my size at all (barely D for XL isn’t much) but these little triangles were not enough. I barely moved and out popped a nip! Yikes!! Did not wear.

Dressing Miami summer heat is tough!
Wore this to a convention in Miami and I got so many compliments. The pattern is fun and bold. I paired it with a yellow blazer for once I was inside out of the blazing heat. It transitioned nicely from convention setting (with the blazer on) to sushi dinner and drinks at a club. I love this dress!

Very broad shoulders required
The fabric is light and flowy, the print is beautiful. However the dress is cut way too broad in the shoulders and was loose in the rib cage. I could've sized down and maybe had better luck. However, the print was so nice that I threw on a belt and went with it.

Perfection!
I first rented this dress for NYE but sadly all the plans fell through. I held onto it knowing had a formal cocktail party a couple weeks later and I'm so glad I did! This was a real head turner! I got tons of compliments from friends and strangers and I felt great in it! Definitely get this dress if the right even presents itself - or you just want to dress fabulous no matter the occasion!

Basically a tent
I knew this was going to be a maxi dress obviously and I liked how it look flowy - and the print was adorable. But the fit was terrible. I was swimming in it in the bust area. Seeing as that was the only part that required a fit, I could have probably gotten away with a 12, maybe smaller! I'm a 38D fwiw. With the busy area being loose and the type of material it was, it just looked like a tent on me. Sadly, I could not wear it on my trip to Miami.

No give for movement
The romper is cute for sure! But there was absolutely no give to material so sitting was uncomfortable and kind of unflattering. Also, it is short! I am 5'9" so might not be an issue for shorter/average heights but if I bent over some booty was definitely on display. I ultimately did not end up wearing this out anywhere because of the issues.

This dress was amazing. I recommend sizing up 1 size: I normally wear a 14 and the 16 fit like a dream. So flattering, curve hugging. I felt like a star at the jazz club that night. I received a lot of compliments.

Holiday party stunner
I rented this for a holiday party and received so many compliments. I am a huge fan of spanx so I did wear them to accentuate my hourglass shape but smooth out bulges. The layered slip and lace dress occasionally didn't match up, where the slip was hanging lower but it was an easy fix. I am 5'9" so I had to be mindful of the mini-dress factor. Some may think the dress feels too short but with opaque tights it seemed fine to me. Color and neckline were my favorite features.

Classy!
I rented this for a presentation for work. I wanted something conservative yet fun. My boyfriend teased me that it looked like a "grandma" dress but I loved the classic elements of the dress - the puffed sleeves and Victorian-like collar. However, there is a little bit of a sexy element to the dress. Form fitting and curve hugging and the buttons in the front give a little bit of a peek of cleavage.

Just didn't work for the season and runs large!
Definitely size down! Very loose in the chest, shoulders and bodice. The material and pairing is nice and I love the detail of the contrasting belt (also very long!). However, the material is too light for fall/winter weather and I don't think it would pair well with a sweater and tights.

Snug at rib cage
This dress fit well, though on a 5'9" frame was a tad on the short side. However, the main issue was how snug it was on my rib cage! I don't feel like I have a large chest (36C) but I could hardly zip it and once I did I could hardly breathe! The skirt fabric was lovely and I wish I could have worn it.

Beautiful dress
I received many compliments on this dress! Beautiful fabric and fit. Nice fall/winter dress. It fit my curves perfectly and made me appear slimmer. Definitely hid the tummy. If you have large breasts this might be an issue as it is structured up top and though my 36 C breasts fit well, a larger chest could be constricted.

Runs very small
I thought there was a chance that the dress would be a little small because formal dresses tend to run smaller and I fall between a 12-14. However, this felt very small. I would definitely size up, maybe even 2 sizes, especially if you are busty at all. All that said, the fabric was lovely, it has pockets!!, and the cut and style of the collar was very pretty. I just wish it had fit.

I am so in love with this dress!!
This dress is a dream and I might look to buy it. It's going to be hard to send it back. I rented it for a work conference and I felt so confident and sharp. The slit could be a little high if you are looking for something really conservative but I did not find it offensive. The neckline is gorgeous and has a little retro feel to it. The material is a lovely texture and the dress is fully lined. I think it was very flattering on my figure, nipping in at the waist and hiding my tummy. Also, this dress did very well transitioning from the conference work day to the cocktail hour reception. I really can't say enough about this dress, I loved it so much!!

Material shows everything
While I knew the dress would be snug, I did not imagine the material would be so slinky that it would show every detail, even bra and Spanx outlines. If you've got the body to go commando then, why not? Everything else about the dress, cut, feel, etc was great. Just not for me.

So many things too love...but dear god, the cleavage.
This dress is lovely. Nice pattern, full circle skirt, lined and cute details. Also...Pockets!! But goodness, the shoulder, arm holes, and cut of the bust are so far off. The straps do not want to stay on my shoulders. The front gapes so badly l had to change bras. So much fabric tape and I brought more just in case. Also, the arm holes are tight and pinch. I can't tell if it would be better if my boobs were bigger or smaller. I don't think it would work either way. It's disappointing because I really thought I would love this dress. Even with a little cleavage showing...but this is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen! Also, I was feeling a little sheepish at a family wedding with this much bust showing.
