this could have used a piece of clothing tape that I couldn't find in my apartment -- I was relying on hope to keep the top from opening all the way up. very pretty, though, and super well-draped after a steam

Flattering, classic, and comfortable
I rented this dress for my birthday and was heartbroken to send it back. I got complimented constantly all night, and I felt comfortable and gorgeous. I am curvy, and the dress was extremely flattering on both top and bottom, while nipping in well at the waist. Will be stalking the internet in hopes of buying this dress for keeps.

Fun, flattering party dress.
I loved wearing this dress -- it fit easily, and I can imagine it would for a number of body types. I wore a strapless bra, which was fine even though it was black. You can't wear high waisted spanx, though -- the waist is sheer. But that was fine because with the forgiving fit, you really don't need it. Am considering renting again!

Perfect for a fairly casual rehearsal dinner. Pretty, modest, flattering.
I usually wear somewhere between an 8 and a 12 based on fit, and because of my curvy hips and butt, I sized up to the 12 since the lining is slimmer than the flowy overlay. The pattern is subtle and interesting, and the collar makes the dress slightly more unique as well. It would be appropriate for almost any occastion and would be easily dressed up or down. Super versatile and comfortable. If you are someone with a larger chest, hipe or butt, I would consider sizing up. The shape of the dress still highlighted my small waist even though it wasn't totally tight. Would rent again, and wish I owned it!

My company's holiday party was especially over the top this year, and this dress fit perfectly.
I got both the 8 and the 10 because I was worried about the bust being tight, and the 10 was wayyy too big. Luckily the 8 fit comfortably. The look is much flashier and much sexier than I usually wear, but it was still very classy. I got many compliments, and overall, my first RTR experience was excellent. I am curvy in the hips and butt, but the dress skimmed over those areas beautifully and was also very forgiving in the stomach.
