Wore this dress for my high school reunion and I loved it. I forgot that my alma mater's colors were blue and white so I felt like I was representing. The navy blue was a deep dark blue, it looked almost black in some photos. The ruffle on the back was a nice little surprise when I turned around. The fit was true to size but the length was not made for a shorter individual. I'm 5'4" and the dress hit me mid calf rather than knee length like it was shown on the model. Otherwise, it was a great dress. If you're taller, definitely rent it. If you're shorter, just be aware that it is definitely a longer dress.

This was my back up dress and it was a fantastic choice- I'll have to give props to the RTR stylist who chose it for me. The back of the dress adds a little more oomph to the simple design. It's a great choice for a more formal wedding/affair. I would definitely recommend renting!

I live in Wisconsin so new year's is always very cold. This dress was perfect! Super simple in the front but that's why the back is sheer which gives you a hint of sexy. I wore tights with the dress just because of the weather but I would suggest going with bare legs just because you are so covered up top. Pair this with a statement necklace and some killer heels and you have a perfect party dress!

Absolutely in LOVE! I have been a member of RTR for a few years now and this is the first time I didn't want to have to send a dress back! I almost didn't wear it either (now this might sound a little vain) because it looked too good and I didn't want to upstage anybody...but I'm so glad that I did!! I don't know if it was the color, the cut of the dress..I just felt so great the entire night! The material just hugged me in all the right places and gave me curves I didn't even know I had! I was very close to returning this dress because the top part of the dress was just open. But I scrounged up some double sided tape and with a few carefully placed pieces I was good to go. I'm usually a medium but the bottom of the dress was pretty tight, but once on it didn't give me any issues. I have no idea how it would hold up on the dance floor but I could tell you it was warm enough for a very cold Wisconsin New Year's Eve! It's a simple black dress that you can have fun with on the accessories part. Yes, I would recommend renting but beware of the open top!!

I loved this dress when it arrived BUT it came without the neck piece. So I zipped it up but I couldn't actually wear the dress. Fortunately though, RTR's customer service was stellar. They were able to send me this dress in 8L (neck piece and all) as well as a substitute dress. I loved the print and the fabric of the dress is flowy and would have been fabulous, but I didn't end up wearing it because I ended up loving the substitute dress a little more.

I loved this dress! And I have to commend Rent the Runway for their wonderful customer service. I had initially rented another dress for my birthday but I had changed my mind and they worked with me to send me other dress options. Thank goodness this dress was available! I was able to receive everything in time for my event and I felt absolutely fabulous! Now for the actual dress, it ran just a little bit large. I wore the medium and had to cinch the waist in with the belt. Despite the slightly larger fit, I don't think I would have squeezed into a small. The dress itself is very forgiving but it's just the right amount of sexy. Absolutely loved it! If you want to stand out, I would definitely recommend renting this dress!

Absolutely gorgeous dress! It was too good not to take pictures in, hence the impromptu photo shoot. I felt fabulous and I was so sad to return it. Yes as several other reviewers have warned, there are little golden threads that are flicking out but who cares. The slits up the side are a little revealing, but the little bloomer shorts covered you up. It was a little difficult going to the bathroom though because the buttons are difficult to maneuver...otherwise, seriously fabulous!! I have to give kudos to RTR for their customer service. My backup size had been damaged and they let me pick out a different dress as a back up. But this dress won my heart! Absolutely I recommend renting! You will feel and look like a goddess!

The dress was wonderful BUT the slit was really high. It's a wrap dress that sort of opens up in front...and if you don't keep your legs crossed like the model, your hoo-ha will end up showing. One of the other reviewers mentioned it but I didn't really pay it any attention until I tried the dress on. I had to use a safety pin and it ended up being ok. The dress was very forgiving but still sexy! The fabric was thick and perfect for a very cold New Year's Eve. I would definitely recommend wearing with a statement necklace!

The dress was perfect for my nursing graduation, the only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because of the sleeves and length. The sleeves were very wide and billowy and looked funny if you tried to pull them up. As for the length, I'm 5'4" and the dress was pretty short on me, so I'm sure it would be shorter on someone taller. But with a pair of opaque tights, it wasn't an issue. Thanks for another great rental RTR!

I rented this dress for my birthday in Miami and i LOVED it!! I'm on the shorter side, so I definitely had to wear heels but it was the perfect length with 4 inch heels on. I felt amazing in the dress. It was long, but it had the lower neckline which definitely showed off a little, but not too much! Just enough! I accessorized with a longer gold necklace, but you could really do anything wih the dress. I would definitely recommend renting, great summertime dress!

I usually wear a dress, but this dress runs small! However, the ruching is very flattering! I only gave the dress 4 stars because it was too long for me. On the model, the dress looks like a mini, it was not a mini on me. It hit me just above the knee. Maybe it's a better dress for someone taller, or for a more formal affair. One definite plus, it made my usually not-so-curvy body look like it had some curves :)

It was a great dress, very breezy. Wonderful for a beach vacation. The only reason I did not give it all 5 stars is because it was see through! It didn't come with a slip, but it was easy enough to improvise with a longer tank top underneath. Really cute dress!

This is a great dress,but it definitely runs large! I had an issue keeping my strapless bra strap from showing, but nothing a little double sided tape couldn't fix. Still got a lot of compliments, would rent again, especially in the summertime, it really complimented my skin tone.
