This skirt is a made from a sumptuous, high quality leather that just looks and feels expensive. It's a very flattering fit, and worked well on my 5'11 frame. It could be dressed up or down, as the smart lay of the design is both edgy and classic, offering the versatility of a schoolgirl skirt redesigned into a smart, dressy mini... I didn't really like the way the little gold zip tabs kind of stick out, I believe the zippers could have been sewn a little differently, but it's not overly bothersome, and probably not even noticeable to anyone except the wearer. Worn to church, with a Coach bucket hat, Fossil bag, Franco Sarto wingtip heels, black turtleneck and tights.

I rented this amazingly intricate piece on my Unlimited account.. The weight of carved gold roses laying cold on your chest and warming to your skin makes you feel like royalty, so what better place for it to be worn than by The Queen of Biker Rock herself, the Highway Prophet, the Modern Day Gypsy.. Jasmine Cain. She wore it with a lace overlaid champagne gown with gold and Austrian crystal embellishments and mermaid skirt, choosing no other jewelry but a few thin bracelets and a flower in her outstanding head of red and purple hair. It laid beautifully in the deep neckline of her gown... It is VERY large... However it isn't bulky or chunky.. It laid flush against her and lived well... The artful hinges allowed for perfect movement. She was thrilled with the long gold chain and charm that fell down her back, a tiny jewel winking in the stage lights beneath her up do... The necklace is not tawdry or even shiny .. I considered polishing it before Jasmine wore it, because I feared it would appear dull next to her gold glitter sandals and clutch. I'm glad I didn't. As always, De la Renta's unmistakable combination of heavy handed opulence and fragile whimsiness, tough and intricate beauty that was his and his alone surpassed expectations. The muted splendor of this particular piece took her outfit from prom pretty to Milan classy.. As she accept the award, her smile and her excellent costuming transformed her into a creature that could have been plucked from the lush gardens of Henry the VIII.. Eliza Doolittle in Marilyn Monroe's dress wearing jewels borrowed from Anne Boelyn as she accepted the NIMA award for Video of the Year. Another amazing trait of De la Renta shines through.. The colors in this dress are stunning, more lime green than yellow. I adore the high low skirt with the colored lining.. It fit well, and runs a little large, as I am normally closer to an12 but wore a 10 in this one. Gorgeous layered skirt is forgiving of curves, and the high low makes it versatile for different heights... It has a very antebellum feel, like you are on the way to a cotillion or Easter service. I wore this to church.

This dress is versatile and comfortable.. The adjustable ties on the sides make it cute for almost anyone. I wore it at 6 ft and 170 lbs..
