Rented this for a wedding and got a lot of compliments on it. I've been weight lifting and have lost weight and wasn't sure of my size. I got an 8 and 10 and the 8 was almost too big. The boning of the dress stuck out and no amount of fashion tape made a difference. I ended up wearing a sweater over it for most the night because of that and the weather being cooler than usual. Otherwise it was pretty comfortable!

I'm super pear-shaped (thanks genetics!). I'm usually a 4-6 based on my top (waist) and between a 10-12 on the bottom. I ordered both the 8 and 10 based on the reviews. The 8 fit me, but was a little too tight around my ribs. The 10 was a smidge more forgiving, so I definitely recommend sizing up. The zipper was a nightmare and my friend had to use all her strength to zip it up. But it did and it looked great. I wore a regular bra and underwear, and didn't have to wear any spanx, and had zero issues. The sequins got a a tad annoying towards the end of the night, but it wasn't painful or uncomfortable. I felt really great and got tons of compliments on it.
