Love the dress but odd fit
I have rented this dress a couple of times and it is strangely small. I have had to wear a shirt under it and it falla open at the skirt often. Even when I rented a large. I wanted to own it because it is gorgeous and I love the material. I was sure a larger size would help. Maybe a girl with a thin waist. Not for me

Not what I imagined!
I was expecting billowy and light. But I was swamped in fabric and it was far too heavy of material.

Elegant and easy to wear
It is a thick, well-made material without being hot or bulky. Can dress up or down to wear alone with sneakers, dressed up with pearls and pumps or with a blazer. The color is gorgeous. I bought it!

Comfortable and elegant. I wore it on a cruise for Valentine's Day and strangers walked over to me and told me they loved this dress. It seems very simple but the material is really lovely!

It served its purpose
The reviews said it would “dress up” my outfits. I didn’t see that at all. I felt a little like a sheep dog. But a cute sheep dog (I would have tethered look more stylish). But it was the perfect weight for March in Europe. Warm without being too heavy and light to carry through airports (and made the perfect cozy blanket) on my transatlantic flight. I also liked that it hit right at the knee since I am short usually long coats are too long.

Perfect jumpsuit but a tad long
This is gorgeous. So easy to wear. So well made. It definitely is better for short torso girls. It fit me perfectly. It was a full inch too long for me in the legs but jumpsuits never work for me so this is a small sacrifice. I will be ordering this again!

Cute - Short in Torso
Derek Lam is perfect for us short girls. I would say that if I were one or two inches taller in the torso it would be too short. Can be worn with sneakers or wedges to dress up or down.

A Dream Dress
This is the most beautiful luxe dress. I absolutely love it and wish I could wear it again. It was long for me but I am short so most formal dresses are long. Didn’t need to worry about a bra - plenty of support and coverage which is great for this style.

Super fun and flattering!
Derek Lam designs just work for me. This fabric was heavier which made it perfect for Florida air conditioning in the summer. So I could wear it to work not really out. The long sleeves with short skirt makes it not as versatile as other dresses.

Pretty colors, interesting print
Loved how feminine this dress is - in theory I love lavender but never wear it but with the navy and white it was perfect. I do wish it weren’t quite so low cut. No way to really cover up there. Wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing this at home, but it worked for a summer getaway weekend in DC.

Perfect o celebrate “Barbie” with my Ken.
Such a fun dress, a little more peachy than I had hoped but it was my back up dress and it worked. I wish the size up had been available but I squeezed into it and it worked. I was impressed with the weight of the ruffle that kept this short down all night. It didn’t wrinkle easily. It is very fun and I would only wear it for a specific type of event. Not an every day dress for someone my age but fun! Would rent again for an 80s party!

Certainly a Barbie look
I ordered two dresses to see the movie, “Barbie”. This is the one that didn’t work. The breast area huge, the waist teeny tiny - you would need to be very, very well endowed with a size zero waist and at least 5’6 to wear this dress. Actually one of my friend’a measurement s exactly 🤣. Not for me. But the material is super light and would be awesome for very few women.

Unusual fit
The zipper was next to impossible to get on. It was right under the breast and it caused a pucker under my chest. I wore it on a weekend to northern Va. The ruffle was weird it was on top of my chest rather than on my dress. The gorgeous print was very feminine and my husband liked it. I liked the silky material. I am happy I rented it but do wish I rented a six (it wasn’t available):.

I saw a lot complaints about needing tape or a pin, I think that is helpful because you can adjust it depending on your needs. If I bought it I would add a fasten. I am keeping it another month - it is so pretty. I do wish it were one inch longer and I am short!

Easy to wear for vacation
This could be dressed up or down. I wore it to the Italian sundeck as a cover when eating lunch. Wore it with a light silky blouse to traipse the shops, wore it for a nice dinner outside. It looked good on thinner days and not so thin days as the tightness could easily be adjusted. The color is not too bright - more of a mustard yellow. Perfect to pack on a suitcase to fit a number of uses.

Big Dress - fun - not for everyday.
I rented and brought on vacation tithe Mediterranean. It was quite the commitment because it took a good deal of space in my 17 inch suitcase. My husband loved how feminine it is with the ruffles and flowers. I sized down to a 4 and if I rented again would size down to a 2. Wish the dress had pockets. The fabric is really quality and it is prettier in person that it photographs.

I rented it to wear to Seattle with a fantastic plaid outer jacket on this site. It was very complimentary. I would have been disappointed to have ordered this on its own. Wore it in Seattle and never thought to get a photo of it alone as it was very boxy and very long in the torso. The pale yellow is pretty.

I loved this dress - not sure others did!
I absolutely loved this dress. Wore it to work, wore it on a date with my husband, wore it to a daytime event! It was feminine, easy and comfortable. The fabric reminded me of the old time nursing uniform (before everyone wore scrubs). It was hard to winkle and easy to pack. I felt thin as it hides all my problem areas. My husband said it was “nice” which means he wasn’t crazy about it but, I will rent this again.

Perfect for Early Spring Day in Seattle
A light wool coat that is perfect for transition weather. Wore for a day with exporting the coast, poking around farmers markets, having lunch in a cute seaside village with my bestie and my sweetheart for a long weekend away! So glad I rented it. I wore this to my grandson’s confirmation, hanging with my granddaughter on a weekend away, date night with my husband, dinner party with friends. Compliments each time. The colors were a little more muted than I thought (although the pale pink was pretty). It is smaller than I expected and I like the top snap but wish there was a outside packet for my phone/. Loved this dress!
Such a cute dress. The fabric is a little stiff but it is super cute and not at all stiff. It is the perfect dress for an all day dress. I wore it a few times and had several compliments. I would have kept it longer but traveling this week to a colder climate and needed some other choices. Will definitely rent again!
