Adorable dress and well made, and I did receive compliments on it, but it felt like I was wearing a maternity dress. Very boxy and large.

I didn't end up wearing this dress because it didn't fit...but it's really a great, great dress! I was a little worried about this dress...it looks like a red-orange in the website, which is a hard color for me to wear..but I liked the design, so I ordered it. It ended up being a beautiful blue-red, a much better color for me. They didn't have my backup size available, but I wished they did because I would have loved to have worn this dress. It was a little too narrow in the hips for me to wear and I would have worn it, had they had the larger size available. I will definitely rent this dress another time for another occasion, this time in a larger size.

This is truly a beautiful dress in terms of quality and craftmanship. I would say it runs true to size, but I found that the top can be too revealing if you have a full chest. I'm usually a size 4 and 34C. I ended up going for the size 6 because I needed more coverage in the bust. I also had to do a serious Hollywood tape job and to pin the straps shorter in the back (I wore my hair down so it wasn't seen) to keep from spilling out. I definitely needed to work on the fit of the dress, but it was worth it - such a beautiful dress.

I took the review's advice and ordered it in a size up. The dress is stunning. The color was magnificent and I found that the ruching was incredibly flattering and hid any imperfections. The dress is very expensive looking and well made. I received so many compliments on it. I loved wearing it!
