Daytime wedding in a gorgeous venue on a hot muggy August day. This dress worked perfectly. I'm 5'1 and its hard to pull off long dresses, but I didn't want to wear something too short. This dress hit just below my knees and I paired it with 4" heels, it looked great. Didnt need to wear a bra, I filled it out lol. Ruffles on the top hid anything that may otherwise be considered too distracting (um..headlights!). Material is a little thick but not hot. Form fitting, hugged all my curves nicely.

Loved the versatility of long sleeves and shorts so I wouldn't be too hot or cold. Paired with high heeled black sandals, and a clutch this was perfect. I wasn't over or under dressed and felt confident.

I've rented a lot of wonderful dresses from RTR over the past few years and this is the first one I'm truly sad to have to return. What a fun amazing dress! The top is a very bright pink, and the bottom is an orangey-red. I'm very short 5'1" but petite sizes don't normally work well for me, yet regular lengths are much too long. I always go for short dresses but took the chance with this one and am so glad I did. I wore the 6R with 5" heels which worked out perfectly. The hem barely hit the floor, the perfect length. I'm also very busty 36C/34D but didn't need a bra as the structure and fabric held the girls up just fine. It's also lined so no worries on headlights! The neckline was a bit snug but not unbearable. Saw several reviews saying the top clasp kept getting unhinged but I didn't have that issue at all. Received plenty of compliments all night, one person even told me the dress was like a modern piece of artwork with the contrasting colors and the semi open back. This is one dress you won't regret renting. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

I rented this as a backup option for a wedding I was attending. Although I ended up wearing the other dress (also from RTR), I would've been happy to wear this one if I didn't have the one I wore. The color on this dress is a rich navy blue, and the beading along the waist is silver, blue, and gray which goes all around the back. The dress is true to size. Although the front looks very simple, what makes the dress special is the open back. I would've liked to wear my hair up so as to show off the back design. Also, I would've gone bra-less for this one as it would be tricky to find a bra that works with this. I'm busty (36C) , and while I definitely filled out the top, I would've liked a bit more support. I'd say if you have a small chest you will have a hard time filling this out. This dress has a full skirt but its not too poofy. It's great if you're trying to hide a tummy problem area. It also has some pleating in the front just underneath the beading. I'm short (5'1") and the dress came down to just past my knees. Overall, it's a very pretty dress.

Rented this for a wedding. Recently loss weight and wasn't sure if I'd be a 4 or a 6, and all the 6's were out of stock so I took a chance and ordered the 4. Was very form fitting - I wouldn't go as far as saying it was tight; I'd say definitely true to size. I'm busty (36C) and normally would never go without a bra but with this dress I didn't wear one. The top is tight and provides enough support, and the open back would make it almost impossible to wear a bra anyway. I'm also only 5'1", the length came down to just below my knees but with a great pair of heels it didn't make me look "stumpy". I ended up wearing a pair of spanx to smooth out my tummy area, if I'd gotten the 6 the spanx probably wouldn't be necessary. The only drawback to this dress is the blue slip was longer than the lace; hence the 4 starts vs 5. I probably was the only one that noticed it though. Some fashion tape would've solved that problem. This dress is a gorgeous cobalt blue - it's a pop of color and I'd say it can be worn year-round. I didn't wear a necklace for fear it would snag the lace, but honestly the top is so pretty you don't need one anyway! The top blue slip underneath the lace has a sweetheart shape, a necklace may take away from that. I got tons of compliments all night, this dress stood out and was sexy but classy. Would definitely rent this again!

I recently had a baby and haven't lost all the extra weight yet. I needed a dress for a wedding that would help conceal my post-pregnancy trouble spots - mainly tummy & larger chest, but would be fun & easy to move/dance in. The dress arrived perfectly pressed. I got a 10 and 12 but the 10 was perfect, it runs true to size. I absolutely loved this dress! I had 3 other backup dresses also from RTR and this was my final choice. I accessorized with a thin gold belt, statement chandelier earrings, a gold clutch and gold strappy heels, and felt like the old me, pre-pregnancy/baby was BACK! The dress was super comfortable and hid my problem areas. I wore a strapless bra for the extra support but if you have a small chest you could easily get away without a bra as it has a bit of boning/structure on the inside. It was a bit short but not indecent at all. The one shoulder gave it that extra sass that I was looking for. I got multiple compliments that night and I felt really good about wearing this. Would def wear it again, I wish I owned it!

It's red but with a orange hue which was great for spring. The straps are perfect for wearing a standard bra, and the dress also has pockets - who doesn't love pockets on a dress? I'm very short at only 5'1" I was nervous about it being too long on me but the length was perfect, it hit just above my knee and paired up with nude pumps it elongated my legs. I ended up wearing one of my other backup dresses from RTR, but this was a wonderful option and I would def rent this again for the right occasion.

I rented this for a wedding and wanted to wear something just a bit sexy, flattering and easy to dance in. The dress arrived and I was excited to put it on! I ordered a 10 & 12. Its a very bright cherry red which can easily be worn for a spring/summer event. The dress ran a little small and the 12 was a better fit. A standard bra can be worn with it which was great for the extra support! It has pockets which I always love. I paired this up with a statement necklace, a thin gold belt and gold shoes and it looked great (in my opinion!). I actually had 3 other dresses to choose from also from RTR and ended up wearing one of the other dresses, but but this would've been my go to dress if the others didn't work out.

I got this one as a backup option, and it was gorgeous! It arrived in perfect condition and I was very pleased. Its a orange hue but almost looks more like a coral which I love. The dress is easy to dress up or down. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the belt that it came with - a pink skinny belt; I felt like it didn't add much to the dress and it ran very small but is easy to swap out for a belt of your own. I ended up not wearing this dress as I wanted to wear something a little more sassy/sexy. I went with a different dress also from RTR, but I would def rent this one again for the right occasion.

Needed a dress to wear for a wedding luncheon to celebrate our recent destination wedding with guests who weren't able to make it. This dress fit the bill perfectly. It was perfect for a daytime event, still had a bit of a bridal/romantic feel without having to wear white or a long gown and it looked special. It runs true to size, I loved that it also had pockets! I wore it with nude heels to keep it daytime appropriate and wore my wedding earrings - chandelier diamond earrings and a thin diamond bracelet. It doesn't need alot of accessorizing. The dress has a pink blush fabric underneath the silver lace. I'm 5'1, it hit right above my knee. Loved this dress!

I rented this dress for a holiday party at a "swanky" sports bar/lounge in NYC on a Thursday night - the party started almost right after work, so I didn't want to go too glammed up. The dress I originally wanted to rent was unavailable, so I got this one instead. I was thoroughly pleased with it when I received it and put it on! Its more of a taupe color. I'm only 5"1, and I hiked up the skirt just a bit so it was still pretty short on me, the middle of it bunches around your mid section - so it hides any flaws you may have. Def wear a strapless bra as one side will fall of your shoulder and it makes it a bit sexy. The dress hugged my curves in all the right places. I paired this with a chunky necklace, black opaque tights, suede booties, and a leather motorcycle jacket to give it a modern/casual edge. My husband loved it, I got so many looks from gals and guys as I walked into the venue and as I walked out - total ego boost, lol! Would def recommend this dress for something you can easily dress up without looking like you tried too hard.

I rented this dress for my bachelorette party, and it was perfect! I normally would never wear sequins but wanted to step out a bit of my comfort zone. This was the perfect dress as the color wasn't too bright. The dress wasn't too short, it had the right amount of sparkle, was super comfortable, and easily transitioned from dinner to dancing thru the entire night. All my girlfriends loved it, and I was complimented by several people including guys. I paired it with black patent leather peeptoe pumps, pewter-silver jewelry and a dark gray patent leather clutch. I rented this dress for a friends bday dinner at a trendy NYC restaurant. While I felt a little overdressed in it, I still loved the dress! It's a little heavy in fabric but okay since it's sleeveless so I wasn't hot. I'm only 5'1" and the skirt hit an inch or 2 above my knees. I usually wear between a 4 and 6 and am busty (36C), i usually have to size up due to my bust. I was able to wear the size 4 and still felt a little roomy. The zipper runs all the way down the length of the dress and the fabric is stretchy. I'd rent it again but maybe for a more semi- formal affair.

Rented this dress for my bday nite dinner in the Hamptons this summer. The dress itself is of good quality, but it ran a bit big. It was totally wrong for a July night of partying. The colors are more for fall or winter. I'm 5'1 and the hem hit just above my knee. I called RTR and they sent me another dress which I received the very next day and I absolutely loved so it worked out well!

Rented this dress for my fiancee's sis' summer outdoor wedding at a yacht club - I thought it'd be the perfect dress. Sadly I couldn't wear it..it was an epic fail. This dress was very cute but way too short, almost indecent. And that's alot coming from me as I'm only 5'2 and can always get away with wearing short mini dresses since I'm so short. I had to run out the same day and purchase another dress to wear to the wedding. But RTR was great and allowed me to return the dress for a full credit, which I'll be using towards another rental soon!
