Rent one size up and you’re good.
I loved this but I took the advice of the other reviewers and got a medium instead of a small. Even then, it was still snug but zipped up. It’s a beautiful print and I loved the colors and shape of the dress itself, but I think it would be tough for any women with fuller busts- I am a full C and wore a minimizer.

Maybe my favorite rental ever
This dress is IT. Flowy but not shapeless, vibrant pattern but not gaudy, great linen for a hot summer event, and non-stop compliments all night. It does run small in the chest, so I sized up to my backup 6 and it fit much better.

Felt like a million bucks!
Second Reformation rental and it’s becoming my go-to for events where I want to something a sundress that’s feminine and a little sexy, too. A smocked back makes the bodice fit perfectly. It’s lined so the drape is fitted without being snug. You can adjust the shoulder ties too. I always prefer a bra and needed a strapless minimizer for this (34c) because otherwise it was too busty and low. So ladies with larger cup sizes might want to pass on this. I did wear shapewear, but could have gone without.

Cute milkmaid top, slightly low cut
Loved the details of this peasant blouse. I wore a tank underneath as the arm holes and neck slit were deep for daytime. The weight is heavier linen/ cotton, but it is flowy and swingy so could work for hotter days. Beautiful embroidery- really something special. Paired it with slim jeans to balance out the proportions- it is very bell shaped. The top dips lower in the back, and your waist is visible in front, which makes it obviously not maternity.

Millennial-friendly crop top
I felt legitimately sexy in this, but *also* like I wasn’t trying too hard or dressing younger than my age. This too was really beautiful, and it was fun to try the crop trend. I would absolutely rent this again. I felt it ran TTS and I wore a strapless bra (34 C), which worked fine, but ladies with a smaller chest could probably go braless.

Practically perfect in every way
Amazing print, flowing fabric, beautifully flattering fit, gorgeous & expensive-looking details, regular-bra friendly, no shapewear required, POCKETS. Could work for winter with boots or summer with sandals. I felt like a million bucks in this dress. I am truly sorry to return it- it is an incredible dress.

Beautiful skirt, lovely material, extremely small waist. I got a six (38) and it closed, but barely. I compared it to a size 4 skirt from Banana Republic and it was almost an inch smaller! Not ideal for Thanksgiving, or any time that your human body will require sustenance.

Poufy, weird upholstery fabric
This was a hard pass. The neckline was nice and I liked the colors, but the hem is doubled and is really poufy. It doesn’t help that the fabric is pretty heavy and stiff, not what I expected at all. I looked like a floofy ottoman.

Very feminine, flattering dress but mind the straps!
This dress was just so flattering. The fabric is almost like a scuba material and it is fully lined as well. It fit like a glove and needed no shapewear to skim the body. The print was very girlie- much more dainty and ladylike than I anticipated, but I liked it. It was not a showstopper, though. The straps were too long and when I got it, it still had pins in it from the last renter. I pinned it again and it worked fine, but that is the only drawback of the dress. Otherwise, good.

Loved it, but needs tweaking for shorter waists
The skirt was gorgeous- color, fit, drape. It’s a heavier fabric, almost seasonless. Worked wonderfully for winter with black riding boots and a leather jacket. My one caveat is that the elastic waist is very tall, and basically made my waist look super short. I fixed this by folding it under to make it about half as wide and it worked fine.

I sized up to a six- the four was too short and too tight. I thought the color was muddy and nothing special, and the dress itself looked very plain and a little frumpy. I made it work, but it was sort of a blah dress.

Very flattering shape and fit
Loved this dress for a warm Thanksgiving day. The shape was flattering and I loved the understated color. I didn’t love the slit- to me it made the dress hard to wear with tights or anything underneath, not to mention shapewear or a slip. That said, I felt great it in and got lots of compliments!

Elegant silk jumpsuit
First of all, this jumpsuit runs a full size small. So prepare to size up. It's a gorgeous silk, with no stretch, and the bodice is boned so it is very flattering and there is no slippage. I felt beautiful in it, and I loved that I subtly stood out in a sea of gowns.

Super tiny bodice, giant legs.
This jumpsuit seemed promising but just didn't work. The bodice is very tight, has zero stretch, and with the quilting ends up achieving almost a cone shaped, corset-like effect. The legs are very voluminous and the print dominates the overall outfit. I didn't wear this.

I felt like the teacher in A Christmas Story. The droopy front gives a pigeon-breasted effect, and the skirt hit at the perfect point between knee and calf to make my legs look as short as possible. This just wasn't flattering whatsoever. I didn't wear it.

Voluminous and lint-attracting
I loved the concept of this dress. I wore the 2/4 (at almost 9 months pregnant) and it fit fine. So if you are NOT pregnant, sizing down is a must. The downside about the dress is the fabric is somewhat stiff and heavy (no real drape to speak of), and it draws lint at an UNBELIEVABLE rate. Absolute lint magnet. I appreciated the pockets but with so much material, I felt the dress added unnecessary bulk to the silhouette.

Stretchy sequin winter sheath- works great for maternity!
I rented this for a February party, and wore the S in my 8th month of pregnancy. I am normally a size 4, 130 lbs pre pregnancy but am mostly belly at this point. I got the M as a backup but the S fit well. The dress and the lining are stretchy, so I had no problem pulling it on and it fit like a glove. I added a nude slip since the dress is sheer, and wore a satin tuxedo jacket with it- the dress is so simple it's fun to accessorize. Great to have a winter cocktail option that was elegant!

Thick, bulky and not very flattering
This managed to be thick, itchy, choky and bulky all at once. Pretty color, but the slits in the side mean the slip you have to wear underneath invariably shows. It made me look bigger than I am, and I felt self conscious all day. Thumbs down.

Cheap, strangely fitting and unflattering maternity skirt
So, take a bias cut skirt, add tons of fabric in the front, give it an elastic waist....that makes it maternity, right? Wrong! This cheap skirt fit so oddly, I can't imagine a pregnant woman it would work for. When fitted over my 5 months bump it hitched up and wrinkled in the back. The skirt is unlined but the fabric is satin-like so it shows every wrinkle or fold underneath, and the sad elastic waistband managed to feel uncomfortable AND dig in, all at once. Skip this.

Way too big in the waist and bust!
I am a 4 and I got the 6 (it was all that was available) thinking I could make it work. Nope! It was way too big! Normally, a wrap dress allows you to cinch in the waist to fit your dimensions more exactly, but the pleating in the bust makes that impossible. It was such a bummer, too, because the fabric was light and flowy and I love the print.

This dress arrived with buttons missing, which RTR addressed with a replacement item. But buttons aside, the fit was quite small for a size 4, which is my normal size in dresses. I recommend sizing up! Overall, very lightweight with a fun pattern. I was bummed not to wear it.

I got this as a summer bag and I didn't end up using it much. I felt very much like Jane Birkin but in a trying to hard kind of way. Maybe if I lived in a city it would seem more practical to be impractical, but in my small town it just felt a little too costumey and overly whimsical. It was also sightly bent around the rim of the basket.

DON'T SIZE DOWN!
I was so annoyed with myself—I sized down to an XS because this jumpsuit looked big in the photos only to have it feel constrictive in my bust (there are no darts or stretch) and the crotch (yikes) once it got here. Which is a shame, because the fabric is amazing and super light and flowy. I can see that the fit is supposed to be loose. So plan accordingly and go with the flow in this airy number.

Gingham dream summer sundress
I'm a true size 4 and the waist on the dress was roomy, so I belted it. It is so lightweight with the loveliest full skirt, but not voluminous. The straps are adjustable, which is a nice detail. I wore it for a vacation night out, but this would be great for a summer wedding, a date night, anything. Sweet and feminine without any fussiness.

Beautiful goth/ mermaid dress but mind the front!
Very lightweight, flowy and subtly sparkly dress. I loved the feel and the shimmer, but the deep V front required me buying a very weird and specialized bra, since I really don't like going braless. If you have smaller breasts (I'm a 34 C) you're probably fine. Sexy, elegant, my husband loved it. Other reviewers have said it looked or felt cheap but I didn't think that was true for me.

Autumnal for Thanksgiving
Perfect dress for a warm Thanksgiving afternoon. I wore the XS which fit perfectly. The elastic empire waist made the dress comfortable for cooking and for a big meal. The fabric was a little thin and stuck to my tights so I wore a slip and that worked well. Beautiful print, loved the full sleeves. I'm 5'4" and it hit me mid calf. Very versatile dress!

Great print, fabric weight and pockets. Awkward length at mid-calf and I was SWIMMING in my usual size 4. I didn't wear it and fortunately was able to wear a backup dress from RTR that did work.

I rented this for a date night. It was a backup dress, but I really loved it. The wrap part is very flattering, although there is a small snap to hold the front together that was too tight for my 34 C chest. I left it unsnapped and used the little eyelet ruffle to hide the metal. Other women have worn this dress with a slip, but I loved that my (nude) underwear were a little visible through the sheer back. Very sweet AND sexy AND style forward. I felt pretty and got tons of compliments!

Beautiful neckline, sophisticated sparkle
I wore this for NYE for a party I threw in my house (festive attire encouraged). It was comfortable and looked elegant. The neckline is beautiful (sleeves did slip off my shoulders a few times during the evening but it wasn't really an issue). I wore a strapless bra and it worked great. The blouse does have a cropped fit, so I paired it with high-waisted black dress pants and it looked awesome- but for a regular rise, be prepared to show some belly.

Flattering and classic winter white pantsuit
Very flattering to my small waist and fuller thighs. Loved pairing it with red heels for night out. The suit is lined, too, which makes it hang nicely. Only downside is my rental has clearly been washed and worn a lot, and the white is getting dingy. But that was really only noticeable to me. Overall, great and unexpected choice for a pre- Christmas event

Sophisticated and sexy LRD
Dress definitely runs small- I am a classic 4 in dresses and sized up. Word spanx to smooth my silhouette (the dress is CLINGY) and didn't need a bra for my 34 C bust. Word to the wise, though- people could definitely tell when it was cold in the room- so be aware of your headlights situation. Wore to an upscale cocktail party and felt like Jean Harlow. Rent it and prepare to get a lot of attention!

70's does Art Nouveau
Perfect dress for a family Thanksgiving dinner. The size 4 fit perfectly (to be expected from DVF), with the wrap giving adequate coverage and a pretty modest neckline. The colors feel warm and autumnal. The dress could have used some heels for height (in the back it came down to almost my calves) but I went with boots for day-long wear. Ladies renting this for cooler weather might want to consider a slip- the fabric drapes nicely but it is not substantial.
