Perfect for a winter holiday party. It shows just enough skin to make it a fun party dress but the velvet material is soft, warm, and so comfortable. The material is very forgiving, so size down if you are unsure because it could probably look bulky without it fitting snug.

Loved how this dress looked for my engagement photos, however be very weary of sizing!! I ordered the 4 and 6, tried on the 6 first and it was soooo short and tight I almost just gave up on the whole thing. Based on the other reviews I knew it would be a bit on the short side, especially for a tall girl, but this was EXTREME. A couple hours later I decided to just try on the 4 as a joke to show my fiancé how small the dress was, and the 4 fit me perfectly! It also still had the tags on it so was a brand new dress. The 6 must have been worn and dry cleaned way too many times so it shrunk big time. Either way I feel like I got super lucky having a brand new dress in my shipment so that the sizing was accurate. Loved it, but proceed with caution!
