I rented this dress on a whim with no real occasion to wear it just because it looked so beautiful. It did not disappoint! The fabric is very stiff, making the dress fall perfectly. It definitely runs big which means the smaller size held everything in. The dress made my waist look crazy small and everything else look very feminine and perfect. I loved how regal the color looked and had so many compliments from my friends who said I needed to find this and buy it! I can see this fitting many different body types but it definitely did wonders for my curvy frame! I'm not sorry this dress forced me to go out for dinner. I felt absolutely beautiful in it!

I loved loved loved wearing this Josh Goot dress to my birthday dinner. Unfortunately I don't have a picture to do it justice but it was so fun and I felt very sexy in the dress. It is boned all around which is a plus if you are on the busty side. The dress definitely runs small. I'm typically a size 4 and rented the medium. The top is extremely well constructed, it didn't feel tight but I felt supported. The bottom is a bit of a bubble skirt which left plenty of room for dinner! The fabric is rich and light at the same time. This definitely felt and looked like a designer dress!

This dress was so fun and the color so vibrant. It is made of very thick fabric and I was worried I would be too hot but not at all. It held everything in without squeezing me in which I liked. It's structured but not tight. I loved the length on my 5'3" frame. It was sexy without being too revealing. The fit was great in the shoulders and hips although a little tighter in the hips. Totally worth renting and the blue is a nice touch.

I rented this necklace to wear with a stunning Monique Lhuillier mermaid gown. Given how dramatic the dress was I was concerned that the necklace would be overwhelming but not at all! It gives the classic dress such an egdy twist. I wish I owned this piece. I can think of some many ways to wear it!

This dress is so beautiful that I feel compelled to write a review now even though I haven't worn it yet! Both sizes arrived today in perfect condition, perfectly pressed! The fabric is thick and stiff which helps the dress keep its mermaid shape. At first try I thought I would end up wearing the 6 but once I saw how much extra fabric there was I decided to give the 4 another chance and it just fit my body perfectly, curves all in the right places. It's dramatic and elegant. The R is plenty long on my 5'3" frame that I will be able to wear some of my favorite heels with it. I rented a huge chunky necklace to go with it and it too is a piece of art! Doesn't weigh the look down at all just makes me look outrageously divalicious and classically modern. Can't wait to wear this outfit tomorrow and post an update! I'm already sad I have to send it all back! Update: I loved this dress and the necklace got me plenty of compliments. I had to do some little fixes but no big deal I still felt like a movie star. I got tons of compliments and felt amazing in this outfit! Once I wore 4.5 inches heels the dress was the perfect length. Definitely wear your hair up if you're going to wear this chunky a neck piece. I tried to go with half down and it didn't look half as good as when I pinned it up.

This was a lovely dress to rent for my Christmas day birthday. The color was a perfect shade of blue red and the fabric was thick enough that it hung perfectly. The dress was a little large in the tummy which allowed for room to eat. I loved the shoulder detailing which fell perfectly and the little train. The only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is that after consulting with a stylist she insisted I rented the long. I told her I am 5'3" and usually wear 4 inches heels. I wore 5 inches heels and it still dragged on the floor. But I loved the feeling of picking up my dress and received compliments on the way out of the restaurant. I felt like a movie star and would love to wear this dress again!

This dress was wonderful to wear! Not tight, no pulling in all the wrong places, moved beautifully. I usually don't like to wear jersey because it tends to hang onto every little bump but this dress had enough layers in the right places to hold everything in without being uncomfortable. The draping was a little bit more pronounced than in the picture but it was still flattering. On a 5'3" frame the slit hit just a few inches above the knee which is the only thing I wish was a little sexier. I wore this with a statement necklace which looked perfect on the black background and added a little bit of edge. Perfect for a winter black tie!

This is one of my favorite RTR rental so far! It's so fun and feminine with little details that matter such as an exposed zipper and lightly padded shoulders. Sequins can be itchy and bulky but not on this dress! The garment is light and ultra comfortable.The sizing was perfect and I was able to feel sexy in the dress AND dance all night (think form fitting but not tight). Sleeves are long (which I liked) and the dress hit mid-thigh on my 5'3" frame. I received many compliments and 2 people asked if I could just purchase the dress and keep it. Unfortunately the dress had to go back but I will probably rent this little number again.

Beautiful colors, light fabric, some room for dinner but a little loose on top and I'm on the bustier side (would have been too tight with a strapless bra and I kept pulling on it without it). Great for shorter gals like me (hit above the knee and I'm a long legged 5'3"). I liked this dress, didn't love it. It was playful, got a lot of compliments when people saw it on the hanger. Great on paper, ok on me, would recommend on a slightly longer, less curvy body.

I rented this dress for a fashion show with the girls. It was great! While it arrived with some defects (hence the 4 stars) I was able to sew a little hole back in and it ended up looking perfect. It was very comfortable and had lots of room in the chest without making me look bigger than I am even though I am busty. The draping is very flattering and I got compliments from strangers at the event. I especially appreciated feeling modern and young in a style that was very different from my usual taste.

The dress and the backup size arrived in perfect condition. Unfortunately none of the two sizes fit. The smaller size (4) would have fit all around with the exception of the waist. If you don't have a very defined waist this is probably not the right dress. The bigger size (6) was primarily too long for my body. The top part could have used 3 inches off in order to fit my torso and I am fairly busty. I am giving this dress some stars because of its pristine condition and it did look gorgeous. It just is built for a very specific body type that wasn't mine.

I wore this dress at an evening outdoors wedding. It's the perfect combination of fun and class. It was formal enough yet looked like a party dress. I usually don't wear long dresses but this one moved perfectly. The regular length is pretty long. I was hoping to wear it with flats but with 4 inches heels it still touched the floor. It is perfect for bustier women, supportive and flattering. The dress was in pristine condition which is often hard to achieve with sequins. The fabric looked like it was liquid gold. 5 minutes after walking into the venue one of the staffers said "your dress is so rad!". I was almost worried that it was too over the top for a wedding but when the bride herself came over and told me she thought my dress was beautiful I was reassured. Overall, my best Rent the Runway experience so far!

I didn't end up wearing this dress but I wanted to so bad because it is just so beautiful and modern. Unfortunately the cutouts just didn't work with my body. The leg opening was very high (even though I am fairly short) and the shoulder opening was so low in the back that I would not have been able to wear a bra. The shoulder strap was also too long for my torso. Had I worn this dress I would have needed the bigger size but it just didn't work for my body type. I do not recommend this dress for shorter and curvier women, it would have been better on a taller and straighter body.
