I love the cut and style of this dress, but the beaded waist band had NO give. I wore a size 8, and I feel like a size 10 would have been too large in the chest, otherwise I might have gotten a backup size. While standing and taking shallow breaths, the dress looked great! Sitting down to dinner however, was a new challenge. I wore a sweater over the dress out in public since it's Ohio and it was a high of 12 that night, but that sweater also gave me the ability to unzip the dress so I could eat my meal and just be more comfortable.

With the dress I chose, a necklace wasn't really necessary. I opted for the mystery bling and was sent these gems. Although they were a bit heavier than I was used to, they were the perfect pop of sparkle for this dress! And I am allergic to a LOT of earrings, but these were just fine with my sensitive ears! Loved them!!

I generally wear a 6 and the 6 regular for this dress fit just fine in the length and the waist. However, the top of the dress was very awkward. I'm a 34D, and even with a "add a size" type bra, the top still had WAY too much fabric. It looked like my boobs were hanging just above my waist. It would have taken some extreme pinning to get it to lay properly like on the model, but I didn't want to risk damaging the dress, so I sent it back. Also, despite all the extra billowy fabric, the top was pretty rigid. If I bent my torso at all, the top propped itself open to display the goods. I am sad this dress didn't work out, because the color and flow of the skirt were very pretty!
