Great basic
Perfect cherry red. I wore with an American flag sweater over it and with a denim shirt tied around it. The skirt part is more narrow than what you might expect. I love that the back is completely covered rather than short like other smocked dresses

Awkward fit
The hem lifting up and warping never changes no matter how hard you try. The overall fit is awkward and I actually like a short and billowy top but I couldnt make this one work. Proportions are just too odd

Beautiful dress for everyday
Wore this as is, with a denim jacket and with a cardigan multiple times. Wore it to work, brunch and to wineries. Wore it with sandals, flats and tennis shoes. There is literally no wrong answer for this dress. It fits wonderfully with the ruching having a nice slimming effect if you are self conscious of your midsection like I am. Great print that can go black accessories and shoes or brown, and perfect length (I prefer dresses and skirts to hit about 1-2 inches above my ankle).
