This dress was complicated to get on! You have to align the slip and the slip straps, then pull it over your head. I figured it out, but it took a few tries. I ended up abandoning it - it is a very sexy, super slim-fitting dress, and I felt it wasn't right for the occasion.

The fabric moves with you - so sitting is easy. This wasn't a dancing affair but it would be great for that. I'd say it's best for a dress-up work function, not super formal cocktail party, work (maybe) - where you dress up for work. I loved it.

I'm a true size 6 and the 6 fit me but was very snug (I was a little worried about sitting!). The 8 fit perfectly. The fabric doesn't have any "give" so I'd reserve a size up just in case. The colors are a very deep purple (mauve) and green - it went right to my ankles. This was a perfect choice for a "summer formal wedding" and would also be good for fall with a shawl. I'd rent this dress again!

This is a true size 6. It is a snug fit and a tiny bit tight around the sleeves but not a problem. The dress has no "give" so if you're not into a tight fit, this isn't a good choice. However, it is a beautiful dress, classy and understated, yet it makes a statement. I loved it and would rent it again.

This dress fit me perfectly - the hem length is flattering and works very well with a heeled sandal. Mine arrived quite wrinkled too but I ironed it and it was not an issue. I had no problems with the grommets and bunching - you simply adjust the strap. The minute I walked into the party (cocktails and dinner - not formal but definitely required something more than a "work" dress), I received a compliment. The pockets are great (not that I actually used them but they add an informal flair) and the dress is super comfortable. That night it went into the mid-60's and I was able to wear it without feeling self-conscious or chilly...but that's about the lowest temp for this dress. I'd say it's just right for spring, summer, early fall in New England.

This dress fits perfectly. I'm a true 6 and the medium fit like a glove. I was complimented all night by men and women. it requires very little adornment -- I wore stud earrings and because of the lace neckline, I skipped a necklace. It is form fitting and because of the low, lacey neckline, I wore a strapless black bra. I loved this and will rent it again.

I took note of the comments from previous renters so I was ready with a strapless black bra which worked perfectly and I wore a bracelet that wouldn't catch on the lace. The top was a little loose but not enough to be an issue. I wore the dress to a wedding where the temps dropped into the 30's so I had a pink cashmere shawl that matched the flowers on the dress. I'd rent this dress again - it was very comfortable and lovely.
