I've rented several dresses from RTR but this one has to be my favorite! I wore it to my boss's formal wedding. I could not believe how fantastic my silhouette looked in this dress! It was snug but the dress did a great job of holding everything in place -- I didn't even wear spanx! My biggest complaint was that the dress was a little tight in the bust region, something I've come to expect from Nicole Miller dresses. The lace trim around the neckline also wanted to flip out, probably because the dress was so tight. I used fashion tape to hold it in place but it had worn off by the end of the night. I included the picture of me with my husband because you can see how the trim is curling up on the side of the neckline. Regardless, I received so many compliments, and I sang the praises of RTR to everyone that commented on the gown!

I wore this dress to a club during my bachelorette weekend. It was a great dress for that purpose because even though all of my friends were dressed up as well, the sequins REALLY set me apart from the rest of the group (even without the obnoxious tiara and sash!). However, I can't say that I would wear this dress on any other occasion. It looked rather cheap, which of course is to be expected from a dress covered entirely in sequins. The sequins do cause the dress to be very itchy along the edges. My bachelorette party took place in the fall, so I wore hose to keep my legs warm, and they were destroyed by the end of the evening. There is nothing special about the shape of the dress either, as it is not very fitted. I would say that this dress is perfect for a bachelorette or a girls' night out in Vegas, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything fancier than that!

I wore this dress for a fancy date night in November, so the long sleeves were really the selling point. This dress kept me warm all evening and was very comfortable. I did feel like the top part of the dress fit a little odd -- the back of the dress seemed too big and bulged out a little, however, the bust area was VERY tight. I was prepared and wore some fashion tape to keep from popping out (I've found that Nicole Miller dresses run small in the bust area). The arms were slightly long on me, but I have short arms so that was to be expected. Regardless, it was a beautiful dress and I received several compliments!

I rented this dress to wear to a Postmodern Jukebox concert, and I was going for a vintage-type style. It was shorter than I expected, but still very comfortable. The top part is an adjustable halter, so you can alter the height of the neckline to your pleasure. I wore a regular strapless bra, and I found that I needed to use a little fashion tape to keep the bra from being revealed as I moved throughout the evening. In hindsight, I should have worn a backless bra, because the back kept falling down and fashion tape wasn't much help in that area. Several other reviewers have mentioned that the dress looks very worn/frayed, and they are correct. The fraying worked well since I was going for a vintage look, but I would not have worn it for any other purpose. However, the beading really is gorgeous!

I rented a size 6 and a size 8, since I am usually a 6 but had put on a few extra pounds by this event. While the 6 was a bit tight, it looked great. The fabric hides any "fluffiness" you may have in your mid-section. I tried on the 8, and while it was more comfortable, it just hung off of me and did not show off my shape at all. This is definitely a dress where you want to rent two sizes, because there was a major difference between the two! I ended up going with the smaller, tighter one, and it looked great all night.
