Quite cropped, ordered again in a M and kept it!
Loved the look of this top - felt it worked for casual to dressed up to dinner! At 5'2" and 125lbs I wore the S a few times but always was aware of the crop riding up when I moved my arms, even with very high waisted pants. I ordered it again in an M and loved it so much I bought it with the MDW sale promo.

Too tight
The 25 was too tight on my 5'2 + 120lb self. It closed but felt constricting and def with a little bulge over the side. Would try again sized up

So comfy!
These were great. I've bought madewell before but usually get petite sizes, so was concerned about length. They worked well for me at 5'2 with a doc marten boot without issue. Was a little tight at first wear but then stretched out a little and became very comfy - wore multiple times and almost considered buying as a staple.

Loved the print and the fit. Wore a tank under just to avoid any see through-ness but thought the S was perfect for my 5'2 + 120lb self: form fitted but didn't stretch the pattern out

Good for layering under + fairly warm
At 5'2 + 120lb, I would have preferred an XS, but that being said the S worked out well enough to layer either a long sleeve + hoody combo or even a mid thigh puffy jacket during the deep freeze temps we had in the NE / Mid Atlantic this Jan. I wore this as the outer layer in 5 degree weather and it did the trick even though it still looked a little too large.

Terrible fit for petites
I was looking for a slightly oversized coat in a neutral color and was excited for this to arrive. Unfortunately, this was wayyy too boxy in the shoulders and chest for me. I had a friend over while trying on and she gave it a big no as well. The one button thing is also a little odd and not great for warmth.

A comfy sleeping bag
The print is great and this layered over another puffy coat I had for extra warmth. It just really looks like a big sleeping bag on me as a petite person, even with the size xs. I wore it once over my other coat to walk my dog outside in 10 degree weather (which to be fair, kept me toasty warm!) but I had rented it in anticipation of a trip to NYC and decided it was too cumbersome. The practicality of lugging around this fairly heavy and long piece that wasn't very flattering made me return.

This dress was beautiful -- the color, print, style were all perfect in person. Just be prepared to tape in the chest because it definitely gaps and is low cut.
