These are unique and fun. Some people have commented on the circus element, but I find the print to be more "ethnic". I have a shirt from Japan with the same pattern, just in indigo. They are a bit ballooney, but, whatever, they're super cool -- loud too, but with a white crop top, they're great.

Small barely zips; Medium has gorilla arm size sleeves
After renting the small and loving it but barely being able to zip it over my double as, I rented the medium, hoping to be able to buy it. I didn't even wear it. Despite having long arms myself, I looked ridiculous, and felt uncomfortable; the sleeves were gigantic. I didn't want to roll then up as the denim is already quite thick and their width was also ballooney. Dommage. So sad. Sigh

Super cute, but super young
For a lady of middle age, even though I feel and dress a little younger than that, this felt too young. It is cute, and fits beautifully (I have a tiny chest and like things comfortable, not too tight and restrictive nor baggy). But the flouncy skirt, the flouncy skirt, not too short, but a little too short for me, combined with the prairie white, is, I think, good for a 16 year old. It is sweet.

Won't fit unless you're a size 4 and under
I wear a 6-8 pant, 28-30 jean, and the Large wouldn't come close to fitting. I first rented the Medium, and then the Large, and still, not even close. I wasted not only one, but two rentals and wondered if I had gained 15 pounds. Based on my experiences, I would suggest the Large for a size 4.

Super cool but small
Definitely order one size larger than your largest size! I ordered a 29 (I wear 28-30) and had quite the muffin top. They're super flattering for the boot and extremely cool -- I just wish the size I needed was available.

Soft, interesting, classy staple
I usually wear a small to medium in tops and I'm glad I got the medium in this. It's soft, warm, and the perfect length for high waisted jeans. The sleeves keep it from being boring (and were long enough!!) and the overall shape was very flattering on me. I was afraid it might be boring, but it was subtle, stylish, and versatile.

Not for the small chested or the subtle
It was super large in the chest for me as I think it would be for anyone with less than a formidable B cup. Whilst standing, it wasn't an issue, but sitting and bending became exhibitionistic. The dress fits the waist and then just bells out, and, because the fabric is thick, it keeps the stiff, round shape with no movement. It was all too much for me -- Super puffed sleeves, low cut, cinched waist, belled out skirt -- I felt like I was wearing a weird stick figure dress drawn by a 3 year old.

Raver clown time. There's something about the amount of fabric and the rise and design that remind me of 1990s raver clothing. The denim is thick and substantial, and there is just So Much of it. I'm 5'8" and perhaps, maybe, perchance a taller woman might be able to rock these -- but they felt so ridiculous on that I had to send them right back.

Love and loved, but the sleeves...
Loved this and wore it a few times. It has a subtle sheen and texture and isn't as frumpy as it looks on the model. The sleeve cuffs overlay on the back of the arm, and can restrict movement and/or cause discomfort and chaffing. My skin was a bit raw by the end of the day. I didn't mind too much though as this kept me from buying the dress.

Loved it, but not for the small chested
Cute, comfy, and I loved the fabric, but there is too much of it for the small breasted. A cup? Lots of extra sagging, hanging fabric. B cup? It's possible it might fit, but unlikely. For the endowed, however, it is a fun, slightly outrageous, flattering dress.

These kept their shape after many wearings and still looked good. I seem to be between a 28 and a 30, so these run a little larger than most? Maybe? Fitting jeans is tough. Long enough for someone who is 5'8"

Much more cropped than I was expecting
Much more cropped than it appears on the model, this sweater is very high quality, but bulkier and stiffer than I was expecting. I liked it, I just couldn't wear it much, even with high waisted jeans. I ended up wearing it with a tank underneath, but it didn't look great.

Comfy, cute, very cropped
I liked this shirt -- it was warm and comfy and cute. I was worried that the 0 would be too small for my frame, but perhaps because I don't have much in the way of breasts, it was perfect. It worked well with a high waisted leather skirt, jeans, and high waisted leggings. Surprisingly versatile.

Just ok for me
These weren't as high waisted as I was hoping based on the model's look and if I tried to pull them to that height, I had some camel toe issues. So... they sit a little lower on the waist if you have a... long torso. They're cute, and I liked them, but because of where they sat I had a difficult time finding shirts that worked with them - my many cropped sweaters were too short, and longer ones just looked frumpy.

Synthetic and Hot Topic-y and Tacky
I should have read the description completely -- these aren't quite polyester, a bit higher quality than Hot Topic, but I was expecting a suiting material or something less shiny and stretchy. They are Tacky. And tight. I am usually a 28 in trousers; I know I was risking it with the 4, but I'm sure that a 6 wouldn't have fit either. My booty is also on the fuller end of the spectrum. Maybe a younger club kid would like these? A mod punk 18 year old? Not a 40 something year old like meself.

I love this sweater, but it sheds!
It looks amazing; I love the sleeves. I was worried that the small would be too tight as I have wide shoulders, but I have little boobs and it was Perfect, It shed all over my black jeans, unfortunately, and is scratchy, but with a shirt underneath and blue jeans it is cute and wearable. I love it and if it wasn't so sheddy, I'd buy it.

LOVE THESE
These are so hot, a little tight on my large behind, but they are high high (which is what I want), and because of this, cut in a little when I bend. They stretch out after the first wear and become much more comfortable. I have developed a little paunch in my old age, and these pants hold it in like magic. Only thing, as another reviewer says, the zipper tends to unzip about a half an inch from the top. Super unfortunate.

Madewell always fits larger than other brands. In most brands, 28 is usually ok to tight on me, but I had to keep hitching these pants up! Whether that is because of the stretch factor or the size, I dunno, maybe both. They didn't hold my lil paunch in. Also, they weren't as high rise as some sevens and citizens that I've rented. They are nice and dark and fit more like jeggings.

Cute and utilitarian with a considerable flaw
It's great quality and I love the color and I've been looking for a hot but not cheesy fanny type pack for a while. It's just so convenient! But... the chain latch that secures the flap to the purse does not stay put and always comes out and starts swinging back and forth. However, the purse, despite being small, has great divisions, a zippered pocket for my change, a place for my cards, and another for my phone. That aspect is super utilitarian and well designed. Some of my Pancho Villa inspired friends couldn't stop joking about how it looked like a gun and bullet holster, I guess because of the leather. It would be Great for some people if that latch didn't keep coming undone!

I wanted to buy this, but I was swimming in the small and didn't want to go through the trouble of trying to catch and rent the XS when it was available to see if it fit better. It is surprisingly warm and wind blocking and has no pockets. I really wish I had ordered the XS.

For me, the sweater wasn't scratchy nor too warm, just a bit bleh. I liked the fit, the cropped length, the double knit, the weight, and the wool, but the color of the stripes was this indeterminate rusty maroony i-don't-know-what. It's like my eyes couldn't see the color because it was so boring. The sweater quality was really nice though; I don't understand people who are happy with acrylic when wool like this is an option.

The buttons aren't that bad
I don't understand all of the complaints about the buttons. It's not too difficult to do them up unless you're geriatric or have talons, and if you only unbutton the shirt enough to pull it over your head, you'll only have to worry about five or so. The sleeves were too tight if the arms rode up, but if I pulled them down so the cuff was above the elbow they were absolutely fine. I think it's cute, I got stares and compliments from my workmates and I'm going to buy it.

If synched at the waist and bottom, it can look like a fat suit; otherwise, it's reminiscent of a sleeping bag. It's unique, though, and comfy, a twist for a long black coat, and can look both dressy and casual. I usually wear a S/M and the small fit well. I don't regret it and would buy it if it was 3/4 of the price.

Just a shiny onesie
I wonder if I should have worn my larger size (6)? I apparently have a long torso, thus the curse of the jumpsuit camel toe, but with this jumpsuit + spanx I barely avoided it. It fit perfectly around the high waist, but was tight around the thighs when I sat and it made my tummy look round and teddy bear like. The top was perfect. I wonder if I rented the larger size, whether the top and waist would have been too large. Proportionally, this didn't work for me. Also, it was a tad more conservative than I like.

Perhaps if you have serious curves you could turn this out but as a woman with some lean boobless length (albeit with hips and a pronounced behind) I felt like I should be reaching in my cheetah snuggie pocket for a snickers while watching the real housewives on a fake leather couch drunk on cc &7. It was comfortable and soft and there was no bodysuit, a flinstones lounger for me. It felt tacky and unbecoming and I didn't wear it.

The 4 was a little tighter than I like, but with some spanx it fit AND was comfortable and barely zipped up AND was super sexy. I did get a freaky spotted sunburn that became a leopardish tan on my shoulders. Wear sunscreen unless you want to look diseased! I didn't because I didn't want to ruin the dress.

Shiny, easy, sweet
For fit info -- 5'8", 36A, 130lbs I usually wear a 6, sometimes a 4, and I have fat arms. I didn't have to unbutton the sleeve ends, it didn't wrinkle too much, no nip slips (even though my boobs are very small), and it's such a nice color. It's shiny but informal; I wouldn't wear it to a wedding, myself, but it was sweet to wear to a dinner.
