These beauties were tough to return--I really would keep them if I could! Gorgeous, not too heavy, and best of all, they didn't pinch. I took them off on the drive home but even then the pinch-pain factor was less than a 2 out of 10.

PROS: I ordered 4P and 6R. BOTH fit nicely! 4P was curve-hugging and perfect with a short heel. 6P draped versus hugged and was actually only slightly longer. I wore the 4P and was in heaven being able to wear a tiny 2-inch heel. I love looking taller but I value happy feeling feet more. :) I was comfortable ALL night! CONS: The boning had shifted a little which made the lace trim not want to lay symmetrically. Even fashion tape would not have helped so I safety-pinned the lace down across the entire bodice and was satisfied with the look. It stayed in place all night and was very comfortable.

This clutch was a great size for a formal. It fit my phone, keys, lipstick, compact and mints. The color was darker and more gray than silver/white. But I don't get too fussy about a clutch perfectly coordinating so I didn't mind. Received several compliments.

These earrings are large and make a statement. I prefer large earrings versus a necklace with a strapless dress, and these earrings were perfect. They are clip on and they pinch but not too bad. I had them on for 6 hours and only felt minor pinching. Our event was themed Under the Sea and these were a nice nod to that without being too literal.

This was my second choice bracelet after my original rental was canceled due to damage. The cuff is beautiful--good size and weight for making a statement. It was tight getting it on and I do not have a large wrist. It may be best suited to small boned ladies. :) Once on, it stayed in place most of the night.

My third RTR success story! Received both 2P and 4P. Both fit so well that either one would have been great. With a curvy bottom, I usually wear a 6P, and this dress is forgiving enough that the 2P worked for my waist while having room for hips and thighs. Color is best described as orchid. It was gorgeous, vibrant, flattering. Our event was themed Under the Sea and I wanted to stay away from ocean colors. This shade was perfect! I was comfortable all night (I'm still wearing it as I type!) and I did not have to make frequent tugs at the top. Truly this was the first time I felt really confident and comfortable in a formal. I would prefer to not return it! :) Wore with Oscar de la Renta Great Barrier Drop Earrings and carried Halston Stingray clutch (subtle nods to theme). Others mention a tricky zipper, and it's true; however, hubby had no real difficulty helping me into it.

I loved these earrings so much. I hated to pack them up and return them. They are clip-on but did not hurt while wearing them. The size was perfect and the clear stones didn't compete with my dress but were an excellent formal touch. These would go well with any dress and are especially stunning with a ponytail or updo.

From the time I ordered my Herve from Rent the Runway, I ramped up my working out, anticipating the snug fit of this dress. To my surprise, the size small fit! It gave me a nice shape, but it bordered on too tight for tastefulness through the hip/thigh, where I am curviest. (I'm sensitive to tight clothes looking vulgar) The medium was more demure, form fitting but not tight; however, it was roomy up top as if worn by a very chest-blessed woman. I could make it work with fashion tape or by cinching the shoulder with a brooch, but I kept feeling like the small was a better fit. Another two days of working out, avoiding salty foods, and drinking plenty of water made the size small the winner on the day of the event! I was able to wear spanx underneath and they were not visible as other renters have mentioned. I also noticed over the evening that the dress stretched just like jeans do, so if you are between sizes, wear the smaller one around the house for a bit to see if it relaxes some. It truly hurt to pack this dress up to send back. The colors are so beautiful in person. :) I received many compliments on the color and style, and my husband LOVED it on me. I'm excited to wear another Herve Leger soon.

-First rental from RTR! This was a safe gamble since I had other dresses I could wear for my event. -I never even tried on the 6 because the 4 fit well, in spite of my full hips/thighs. I credit this to the fuller cut of the skirt. -The dress arrived in excellent condition and the lace is very beautiful. The dress is versatile for a host of events. -Most friends raved over the pockets and when I told them about RTR, they looked it up on their iphones then and there. -Other renters have commented about the dress' shortness. On a petite person, it was a great length but it does ride high when seated, as renters have reported. I had a pashmina with me and draped it across my lap during the meal so nothing showed. -I admit, I was sad to pack it up for return this morning but am excited to rent another dress for an occasion next month.
