This was not my first choice but when the dress I had chosen for my 30th birthday dinner failed to live up to my expectations, I ended up picking this one off the rack at the last second, in the Chicago store. I wanted something fun and sexy, but that would still be appropriate for a really classy dinner and night out with friends. This dress turned out to be perfect! Its much lower cut than i normally wear, but with a sticky bra and a little bit of fashion tape I never felt uncomfortable, or in danger of even a slight wardrobe malfunction. The fabric is really pretty in person--a little glitzier than it looks in the picture here and Id absolutely rent this one again for a fun night out!

i picked this dress on a whim because I loved the detail and the texture of the fabric. On the whole, it was a really great dress and I got tons of compliments on it. My only "complaint" (which is based solely on personal preference/comfort level and is not necessarily a fault of the dress) is that it was so form fitting I felt like it showed every little thing and I was afraid to eat or drink very much. Definitely sexy, just wish in hindsight I had worn spanx or something underneath for a little extra tightening. The fabric though, is thicker than you might expect and did a decent job of keeping my stomach and hips looking smooth. I wore the small but perhaps a medium would have fit more loosely and been a little more comfortable for me.

I did not choose this dress from the website, but when my original order failed to be delivered, RTR representatives invited me to the Vegas show room to choose a replacement. I found this and ended up loving it! It was short enough to be fun without being uncomfortable (I'm pretty tall so often even normal lengths look too short on me). I loved that it was a slim fit without being so tight that I couldn't breathe. I was able to eat dinner and have plenty of drinks without needing to suck it in all night, and it was comfortable to move and dance in all evening. The underneath layer is stretchy, and even though it is completely covered in sequins, it wasn't heavy or itchy at all. I would definitely recommend as a fun party dress.

I rented the dress for a wedding and was extremely pleased. However, it wasn't until I had already rented the dress that I read reviews mentioning how short it is, so I was more than a little apprehensive by the time it arrived. The reviews are right--it's definitely short! I am 5'9" and with heels, I was showing a LOT of leg. I ordered both a Size 0 and 2; the 0 fit but I went with the 2 because it was a little bit looser and gave me half an inch more length. Luckily, the wedding was fairly non-traditional, so I did not feel out of place in a short cocktail dress. It's a great dress and I got tons of compliments...I just would have felt a little uncomfortable had it been a more formal or church wedding. I would definitely wear the dress again for a cocktail party or similar event though!
