Perfect for the holiday season. However, this dress fits extremely small around the rib cage area. I normally wear a size 4, for this dress I sized up to 8 already and still couldn’t zip it all the way up.

Stand or sit, don't walk, and forget about walking up the stairs.
While standing, the dress fits great and looks fabulous in person. The red is very eye-catching. The material is thick, detailed and well made, BUT it has no give. All of the striking details took a toll when I start to walk. It was hard to walk normal in this dress. I usually am a size 2 and wore a size small. The bottom of the skirt restricted my legs from taking usual steps. When walking, I had to hike it up and make baby steps. I was pretty much hopping around instead of walking all night. With that said, this would be a great dress to stand in, minimal walking and forget about going up the stairs.
