I ordered both a size 2 and 4 but I only received the 2 since the size 4 was not available for shipping (was received damaged by a previous renter). Although my normal size is a 4, the size 2 fit very nicely. The fabric is thicker and it felt very comfortable. Because I'm 5'3", the length was a bit long on me (just at the knee) but it was fine for a fairly conservative evening holiday party for work. I love this dress and I have another holiday event coming up so I'm renting the dress again, along with another back-up dress just to try something different.

This was my backup dress but I ended up not wearing it. It's a very pretty dress, but a bit too shiny for me. It also runs quite large. I normally wear a size 4 but even size 2 was still too loose overall--maybe a size 0 would have been better. In contrast, I wore the Nicole Miller black open back sequin long dress in size 6P and it fit well. Just goes to show the very wide variation in sizes depending on the style and designer! The stylist I talked to was very helpful in deciding which sizes to order.

I normally wear size 4 and was worried about length (I'm 5'3") so I ordered both 4R and 6P. I ended up wearing the 6P because the 4 was too snug in the mid-section and hips. The 6P was more comfortable overall and the length was good with 2" heels. The regular length was a bit too long and I didn't want to constantly worry about tripping. My one minor complaint would be the neckline which is straight across--it would be more flattering to have a nicer shape like a little V or sweetheart neckline. Other than that, I was very happy wearing this dress.

The dress was very comfortable and I got many compliments at a Christmas party with mostly friends and colleagues at work. I usually wear size 4-6 and I went with the 6. There was just enough looseness in the middle section to be very comfortable but not baggy. As other reviews mentioned, the lining did peek out at the bottom but I probably noticed it more than anyone else did. Also, there were several pulled threads all over the dress that my husband had to trim, because the material could snag easily.

The elastic on the left sleeve was worn out, or pretty much nonexistent, so that it was wide open. It was supposed to be gathered at the arm like the right sleeve, so I had to return it. Color was a bit more blush/light pink color than on the model.
