This is a great festive top. It is very sparkly, a little sheer and lightweight and looks as pictured. Definitely for nighttime wear. I wore it over thanksgiving weekend to a party with black faux leather pants. I have a short torso so I found the length of it to be fine, but a taller person may find it to hit at an odd place.

I'm 5 ft 2, 115 lbs, small chest, and found the small to be a great fit (well, the sleeves were a little long on me but that's typical with almost every top). I did not find the lace to be itchy and it even had a slight stretchy give to it. I love the combination of the sporty stripes and the feminine lace. I wore it out one night with a bralette/crop top underneath and high-wasted navy legging/pants. For daytime (work) I paired it with a silky navy tank top underneath to show less skin and winter white wide leg pants. I loved it so much I think I will purchase it!

Size: I ordered the 34R and I wasn't able to wear it because I couldn't get it zipped all the way and didn't have a backup size. I usually wear a 0, but for a dress that has no stretch and is tight around the ribs, I should have know to order the next size up. Dress: The chiffon is beautiful and the color is a rich red, almost red orange and would definitely be a stand out at any event. This could easily be wore to a black tie or any formal event. I looked and felt very mature and glamorous in the dress thanks to the many wispy layers in the skirt that add volume. I usually opt for something a little more sexy, but still loved it and will consider ordering it for another winter wedding in the future!

I wore this to a black tie optional wedding and loved it! Dress:The lacy/nude effect on the back and cap sleeves is so beautiful and the color is definitely a more interesting cobalt shade than the navy color in the pic. The two front slits are certainly not for everyone, and I could see how some reviewers were uncomfortable with them, but if you love wearing short dresses like me, this will be fine since the slits go up to about the length of a short mini dress. Sitting is indeed a bit of a puzzle, you have to adjust the skirt to keep your thighs covered, but I knew that when I ordered it. Fit: I think this is a great option for short and petite girls. The top is very snug and sucks you in. I needed help zipping it, but the fabric has stretch so it was still comfortable. Size: Would have liked to have been able to get a 2 as a backup size because the 0 was snug, but definitely still had a great fit Bust: Probably wouldn't recommend to busty girls, I am a B cup and the top was so tight that I looked totally flat, I'm not sure anyone who is larger in that area would be able to fit. Length: The length was perfect with 3.5 inch heels and would work with 4 inch heels, but perhaps not less than 3inches on a 5ft 2 girl. A fun rental for sure, sassy in the front and classy in the back!

The other reviewer's comments were spot on... the dress is a thick material, very beautiful with slight sparkle, and has a bandage dress type of fit. I am petite and with a straight, athletic body and usually opt for more short and structured options to give me some curves, so this was out of my usual style and comfort zone. I decided not to wear it to the small, more casual wedding (where I was a date, not an actual friend of the bride or groom) I was attending because it would have just been too sexy for the occasion. I would recommend the XS for someone my height (5'2) and suggest it for a Girl's Night Out, sorority formal, or Bachelorette Party !

Love it! The other reviewers were right about the sizing, it does run a little large, especially in the midsection, so I ended up wearing the 0. This is my only complaint because I wanted it to accentuate the waist a little more. It is very short (which I like!), so taller gals might want to keep that in mind. The colors and details look awesome in person. I wore it to brunch and a tailgate party, but it could also be dressed up for a more formal occasion. The material is thick, so the dress could be worn spring-fall.

The detailing is absolutely beautiful, however the fit is misleading in these pictures. I have a petite, athletic body and this dress looked GIANT on me. It is very, very baggy on the side with the shoulder with way too much extra fabric and it looked ridiculous on me. I would only suggest very tall women order this dress because it was just overwhelming on a smaller frame.

The beading it AWESOME in person, I had so much fun wearing it. However, I am short and it turned out being much longer than I had expected. I just belted it and made it look like a drop waist dress and it turned out great! I wish I owned it!
