size down for length!
last time I rented this dress and another color in one size bigger, it ended up fitting perfectly at the start of the day, but as the day progress, the dress kind of weigh itself down because of the heavier fabric. Even though it was a bit tight on my arm since I have a more athletic build the length of this dress once size smaller is much better.

fun butter yellow dress for the office
stop wearing this dress, especially because butter yellow is a pot color right now. Love that it looked like two pieces, but it was one item really easy to get on and off also, since it was only attached at the back good for people with broad shoulders as well since it is sleeveless!

LOVED
I love this jacket and wished that I kept it longer or bought it when it was on sale! Fit perfect kept me warm while still looking cute and didn’t even realize that it was reversible until I got it so one side is vegan leather and the other is the faux hair.

fun coat with some quirks
mortgage coat to work one morning this week to change it up because my puffer felt too heavy, but my lighter jacket felt just a little too light. Kept me warm without being super bulky, but I probably needed to size up for my shoulders so I only wore a thin T-shirt under it and put my sweater on over it once I got to the office. The length was great when walking through the muddy slush in NYC but since the lining is all fleece, it kept catching on my pant leg when I was walking which annoyed me but not a huge deal i guess. probably wouldn’t rent it again, but it was fun to give it a try.

shoulder tie awkward on broad/athletic shoulders
probably wouldn’t recommend this particular sweater to someone with broad shoulders or an athletic build but it was fun to wear for a day. the fake second sweater tie wouldn’t sit right most of the day and i couldn’t really get it to look like the picture. sweater itself was great though!

great winter dress for athletic build
I wore this dress to a singles holiday happy hour event on a chilly night and while keeping me warm it also looks great! since the fabric is stretchy, if you’re in between sizes, you may want to size down so it fits more snug (that’s what I did)!

one of my favorite rentals
I wore this dress to a friend‘s wedding and I got so many compliments on it. The fit was great and the color was unique. I could see this being potentially tight in the waist for some people so it might not be a terrible idea to get your size and one size up to be safe.

Gorgeous Green Dress
Loved this dress. The knit fabric is stretchy but structured, so it smooths without feeling tight. It’s fitted through the waist and hips and very flattering. The buttons are secure (no gaping), and the collar adds a chic, tailored touch. The length was perfect for me with heels but could be a tad long with sneakers. If you’re between sizes, I’d recommend sizing down since it has stretch.

cute but a little see through
loved this dress for my friend’s birthday party. Definitely form fitting so be aware of that. Requires a particular type of underwear and bra situation so that your undergarments won’t be seen. I wore a tan string thong and cakes nipple covers under and it worked well enough.

LOVE & WILL BUY
I love this sweater dress so much that I washed it and wore it again during my rental period and even though it’s a little pricier, I’m looking to buy it to have in my closet! Perfect length perfect amount of stretch kept me warm for the cool mornings, but not too warm in the office or on my commute home when it got a little warmer outside. Super comfortable as well. I’m usually a size 4 or six depending on fit and the small was perfect for me. I also have larger arms, shoulders, and back from competitive CrossFit training, but this fit great for me. I try not to size up in sweater dresses since they tend to stretch out over the course of the day. A must rent!

LOVED THIS DRESS
Loved the fit on this dress! being a more athletic build, it’s really challenging to find dresses that are small enough in the waist, but have enough room on the upper back so they aren’t pulling/pinching - this had the perfect amount of stretch and structure for that. also being smaller chested, sometimes dress tops have stitching in the bust that makes it hard to fill out but didn’t have that issue with this dress either (a reformation dress I rented to try for the wedding did however and it was awful 🫣😂) I would totally rent again for another wedding! Love anything from Staud

Did the job but not my favorite
I have been loving wearing long sleeve cardigan-type sweater dresses to work since it has gotten colder and have found some great ones but this one was just ok. I liked the color and the fabric, but was a bit tight on the arms for me. heads up, it has shoulder pads and the belt is sewn to it so you can’t take it off. I felt like the belt was just a little too high for me. also since the fabric is thinner than other sweater dresses i’ve rented, it tends to pull more around the bust area and hip area than others so be careful and wear shorts and a tank top underneath if you plan to wear this to work lol 🫣 I won’t run to rent this one again, but it wasn’t a bad option ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

fit great except the rib cage area has no give to it because of the button closures so i would size up. dress will still fit well one size up. i still wore it but was a little uncomfortable by the end of the day.

Pretty dress but wear shorts under it
the fabric on the bottom gets al caught between your legs so wearing shorts under is a must (or honestly a tighter skirt so the fabric doesn't go between your legs)

wore this for a nye party and got so many compliments! fyi it doesn't come with a belt (and def needs one imo) but I ended up having a similar belt to what the model was wearing from a santa costume (of all things). originally wanted to rent the small but only the medium was in stock. i'm usually a size 4 and the small would've fit better I think but the medium was just fine!
