Beautiful but itchy
I live in the NE and rented this in early fall; I would say it's more of a winter item as it's very toasty.

Gorgeous but a little bit too sheer for me
The 1920s cut is just gorgeous and perfect if you have a slim figure overall (B cup) but have a little mommy pooch to camouflage. Chest support is a little bit challenging because the dress looks best with the straps set on the longer side, which makes the back quite low. I wore body tape (my first time) but my 'girls' felt a little exposed. A cardigan helped.

I wore it to a little girl's baptism (I was the godmother). It was a good choice and very flattering.

Lots of compliments at red carpet event. Fit me fine, not great.
This dress is true to size. The style and color are beautiful. I wore it to a movie premiere event in NYC and got lots of compliments. I wanted something that would hide my belly without making me look shapeless. The dress worked for me generally, but I didn't love the look on the back. I also didn't love the opening of the sleeves; it was unflattering to my non-athletic arms. I can see this style being best on a slim and athletic figure. Having said that, pleated dresses were popular at this event but I liked this one best. The color is something between navy and royal blue, which made it kind of regal and appropriate.
