Gorgeous dress with a terrible zipper
Fit, fabric, and cut were a dream. The cheap plastic zipper was not. Despite fitting comfortably, had to have help zipping up past the waist seam.

THE perfect business dress

Fun print for a not quite cocktail, not quite daytime affair
Perfect in-between formality for a non-cocktail engagement party. Dress was so easy to wear- had stretch, hung well, and was lightweight enough for summer humidity.

The slit goes up to upper inner thigh and was nsfw. I tried pinning it at the top, but it wasn't an easy spot to keep put. I am usually a zero, sometimes a 2, but was happy I read reviews and got the small.

Great fabric and conservative cut, but definitely long.
The length is long- I wore a 2 and am 5'6, and the dress hit near ankle instead of shin/below the knee. I sized up because the rib cage area is tighter, which was a smart call.

The dress was big for me, but still wearable/cute. The inside was missing the button to keep the dress secured shut, and the tie waist (understandably) wasn't foolproof at keeping the dress fully wrapped. I think it would have been fine if there was the inner button and if a smaller size was offered. I wore this to a family brunch and looked nice despite the verging nip-slip.

Strange cut on top
Unfortunately this dress was a miss for me. I love Nicholas dresses (have rented 7+ of them) and size very consistently/easily into that line/RTR dresses generally. The straps on this were very long and the plunge went down past my sternum. It felt like the triangles for the chest went out too wide. The ruffles at the hem of the dress were very sculpted/lifted and the waist area fit like a corset (which was flattering but understandably less comfortable). The waist to hem area fit like a scandalous dirndl dress.

Fun twist on a long-sleeve fit-n-flare dress
The keyhole, ruffles, and elevated print made this dress feel much fresher than other long sleeved fit and flare dresses. It was perfect to wear to a fall event where I wasn't exactly sure of the level of formality (welcome drinks on the Friday before a wedding). Easy to dress up or down and incredibly flattering!

Chic black tie dress for an outdoor CA wedding
The dress was easy to wear (no wrinkles), fam appropriate but not frumpy, and flattering. Would definitely rent again! I sized up, but think I would have been fine in my usual size. While the photos suggest a pink with more brown in it, the color in real life is a brighter, but still muted, pink.

Glamorous cocktail dress
Dress was on the smaller-end of "true to size." This was a super fun dress to wear- the mermaid hem, keyhole back, and red lace were all stand outs. The conservative neckline kept it from feeling too over the top. The range of movement in the dress was around a 5 out of 10. Great for most weddings, but not what I'd wear to a wedding where I expect a wild dance floor.

Sultry without trying to hard dress
For all the talk about E&J running small, I think I could've worn my usual size in this dress and been fine. However, the 2R was really comfortable and left room to explore the full range of the cupcake bar :) This dress was classy but also a head turner. The fabric is stretchy and weighted but not too warm, and the slit makes it easy to dance. It is body-con so spanx or another form of shapewear may be helpful!

Non-Cookie-Cutter Maxi Option for Weddings
Easy to wear, flattering maxi dress for a formal, outdoor wedding. The rustic print/pastel tones helped this dress match the November date despite the 80 degree weather. Although I consistently size up to a 2 in Nicholas clothing, I found this dress to be a little big and would rent it in usual size moving forward. I wore the "cold shoulder" sleeves under my arms and did not have them rest on my shoulders, because the dress was a little big.

Conservative cut with a modern print
Found the polished, anti-body con, and modern dress I needed for my law firm retreat outfit. This A-line fit was flattering but not form fitting, and the length went to my knees. Fabric is thick, but not oppressive. I wore it in 70-75 degree weather and was comfortable. Will definitely rent again!

Classic and crisp work dress
Polished but fresh dress for a business dress code office. While I was concerned about the length, the hem was just above my knee. The wrists have zippers to achieve the tapered look, so you may need help/ingenuity to zip up the wrist portion! Will definitely rent this dress again for a client meeting or conference.

Fresh take on a silk blouse
Swooning over this top's details. The polka dot sheer paneling at the top made it an easy day-to-night outfit. While you can't really tell from the picture, the top is almost an empire waist. I wore it to a friendsgiving so I was pleased about that discovery. If you have a fuller bust, I would recommend sizing up. The downside of sizing up is that the arms were a little long as is, and I am 5'6.

Received so many compliments on this top! Wore it to work and out with friends. The peplum + piping + arm paneling elevated this top to a stand out. The arms are not as sheer as the picture indicates, which made it easier to wear to work (which is a law office) with a pencil skirt.

The top is more low cut than the picture suggests. I wore a black sports bra under to make it work appropriate, but wore a regular bra when wearing it out for drinks with friends. The top didn't stay in place very well for me (especially since the fabric is silky), but I wasn't too bothered by it. Fashion tape would be a good idea for those who would be bothered!
