Too long and runs large...

I was excited to wear this dress for a summer wedding, but ultimately opted not to. Even in 4-5" heels, the back of the dress was way too long, and I would have been tripping on it all night - and I'm average height (5'-5"). The dress also ran large for me - I normally wear a 4 or a S/M in dresses, and I was swimming in both the S and the backup M I ordered, and the triple hook-and-eye neck closure requires dexterity that I apparently don't have to fasten. Such a bummer, because this dress is gorgeous!

Stunning color and great fit - RUNS LONG

LOVED the color and comfort of this dress! I received lots of compliments on the fit. For bra needs, I wore the stick-on rabbit ear style bra cups, which worked great and didn't show through. For undergarments, I wore a seamless no-show thong. This dress leaves little to the imagination when it comes to what is underneath, but the material soft and stretchy. I LOVED the cross back and the halter neck. The 4R was way too long for me, even with 4-inch heels (I'm 5'-5"). Would recommend! True size.

Absolutely beautiful dress with just the right amount of bling!

I ordered this style as my backup for a formal awards gala for my work. It was the perfect balance of sexy yet appropriate for an environment at which colleagues are present. The combination of the side slit and the one-shoulder style made for the right element of alluring without presenting too much leg or too much cleavage. The dress fit very comfortably and I found it to be pretty true to size, and I'm 5-5, and was able to wear 3.5" heels and still have a nice length of dress barely skimming the floor. Some reviewers found the sequins to be uncomfortable in the armpits, but I didn't experience that issue. I was also able to comfortably wear a strapless bra, although you could probably wear a convertible bra with just one shoulder strap attached. Plenty of room in the bust for D/DD. Received SO many compliments on this look!

Nice colors, runs quite large, size down

I rented this dress for an evening party with my work. I was really surprised at how stretchy this dress was, but it was so "forgiving" that both sizes that I ordered (4 and 6) were bunchy and had way too much extra material all over the place for me. Other reviews were spot-on about the odd "wet-suit" material that is super-thick and, in my opinion, adds too much bulk to an otherwise cool design. Don't get me wrong, there's a ton of room in the bust, the rear, etc., but I didn't feel like the dress clung and hung to my body the right way. I wasn't able to wear the dress to my event, so I went with a backup dress that I had brought with me.

You will be the belle of the ball in this dress!

If success is measured in the quantity of "likes" one receives on social media platforms after posting herself wearing a party dress, then this Nha Khanh dress is THE winner - I received almost more compliments AT the party and ON my FB/Insta feed from this dress than any other (including my wedding day - ha!) This dress actually reminded me of wearing my wedding dress, because of the glamour, class, tulle, and mermaid cut. Oh, about that mermaid flare - SUPER for a curvy/hourglass gal, but keep in mind there is VERY LITTLE give around the thighs and hips, much like a true mermaid or trumpet dress. Size up, like I did, and definitely order a long to allow for some bunching and also to allow for sizable heels. I'm barely 5'-5", and I am so glad I ordered the LONG, as the Regular wouldn't have allowed for heels for me. I wore 2-inch heels with the Long length. One of the biggest bonuses about this dress is the ability to wear a NORMAL BRA - yay! However, for full-chested women, it may be tight. I'm a 34 DD, and I had to select my bra carefully so that there wasn't too much cleavage pushed up and out (it was a work holiday party). Also, this is a Spanx-friendly dress if you desire to wear shapewear. The belt that came with the dress was definitely a cute addition, and I'm glad I wore it. I LOVED this dress and didn't want my night to end. It wasn't really good for dancing, as I was worried people would step all over and rip the tulle, plus I wasn't doing much dancing, just walking around and mingling. My dress did have a slight tear in the tulle, as it pulled away from the main underlayer, but I let the RTR team know about it right away, and they made a record of it and offered to reimburse me for any repairs. Thanks for the awesome customer service. This dress is so worth the cost!

Comfortable, Great Zipper, Great Quality Dancing Dress!

First things first: if you're going to dance and you want to twirl, drop it low, and shake it without any fear of inappropriate wardrobe malfunctions - order this dress now. The twirly skirt bottom, the racerback-style top part, the heavy-duty zipper, and the drop-waist all make for a great dancing/sitting/walking dress. That said, I was hoping there would have been more room in the bust area in the size 4, because everything else fir me great (I'm a 34DD). The size 6 is what I went for to allow for the dress to zip, etc., but the waist/hip/butt area was generously sized for me in the size 6; I think maybe due to the drop-waist detail that isn't as obvious in the model's photo. The dress was perfect for a hot, outdoor, August wedding in Virginia. It had a nice lightweight underlayer that not only gave the skirt more swing, but also prevented "sticking" and embarrassing clinging due to the heat. The zipper was also awesome; something that's a commodity with many well-loved RTR dresses. It's heavy-duty, exposed (in a trendy way) and stays put. I do wish it had a hook-and-eye at the top, but nevertheless, things stayed put. Oh, and I love that this Milly dress is made in the USA! It's really high-quality.

Great color, comfortable overall fit, runs much larger than I would have expected

I wore this dress to a summer formal wedding, and it's my favorite color (teal) with my favorite neckline (v-neck) in one of my favorite materials (lace). The size 4 was a little too small for me across the thighs, but looked fine from the side. The size 4's top/bust area fit fine, which was great since I'm a DD. However, I went with the size 6 because I wanted to feel more comfortable walking and dancing and sitting, and not to have to worry about pulling the dress down. While the size 6 didn't ride up or bunch, the top of the dress was surprisingly way too big and I had to be extra conscious about the top of my bra poking out or the straps sliding down since the armholes were much larger than the size 4 on me. I was thrilled that I could wear a "normal bra," but be sure it's razorback (or strapless if you want), as a bra with standard straps would have kept appearing. I didn't need Spank or shapewear; the fit is flattering and has a nice ruched knot to accentuate your waist and separate your bust from your hips. There isn't a slit in the back, so you need not worry about too much thigh split showing in the rear. It has a little stretch for more comfortable sitting. The zipper doesn't have a hook-and-eye at the top, which was a disappointment. I liked that the dress is American-made. It was a great dress for my hourglass shape; I just wish the top and bottom proportions jived better.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress - when it became availble on RtR, I was ecstatic. The color and sheen of the material is not done justice by the photos online as the steel metallic blue looked even better in person, as did the sequin detailing on the straps. The square neck and back was very cute and flattering as well. This dress was great and fit like a small 6 (I am between a size 4 and size 6), so I was comfortable with the six. I didn't feel the need for body shaping undergarments, but if you're unsure of your posture or midsection, I would definitely recommend Spanx. I was able to wear a thong and a normal strapless bra without any show-through issues. Dress was a great length for my 5-5 frame and didn't ride up. I wore this dress to an evening wedding in October and received many compliments. It's tight but not too tight, and not too revealing in the bust area, even if you're full-figured. I recommend this dress!
