Beautiful, but very long for a short girl
The fit was a little large in the shoulders and rather long for my 5'3" height. But the look of the dress was gorgeous and very flattering in general. It was perfect for my friend's wedding - classic and pretty with a modern flair, sort of a bodycon color block but not exactly the typical pattern you might see. I stuck to a minimalist necklace, a single sparkly bracelet, stud earrings, and simple black peep-toe pumps so that the dress remained the centerpiece, and I was very happy with the results.

So pretty and sparkly!
I got a lot of compliments on this dress. The color was perfect for a late summer wedding and with the fairly open back and knee-length it was very comfortable on a rather hot day (my husband in his suit was very jealous of my air flow situation). The fabric of the skirt was a little prone to wrinkles, so after hanging the dress in the bathroom while I showered to steam out the creases I had to be careful in the car not to undo all that effort. You do need a low-backed bra with this dress, or you'll have to go without one. The fabric is thick and covered in sequins so no worries about show-through in the latter case. The sequins are prone to irritating the underarm, which is typical, but I've definitely seen worse cases of it than with this dress. Even though this dress was true to size I would have liked just a teensy bit more room at the waist, where the dress was smallest. I found the waist would ride up half an inch or so over time to where my natural waist is, something that happens to me a lot (I guess since I'm so short). The skirt has a tendency to flounce out a little at the hips and look wider than I preferred, but weighing down the pockets with my phone and lip gloss helped balance it out. That being said, that room at the hips is very forgiving so pear-shaped girls would probably do well in this dress.

Perfect for my Rehearsal Dinner!
This dress was so perfect for my rehearsal dinner. I wanted to wear something classy and fun, and the pleated skirt added that flair I was after. The high neckline paired well with a big necklace and the length lends itself well to the wedges I wore. The dress was comfortable in the bust, which can be tricky for me most of the time, and the skirt fell nicely from my waist over my hips. Everyone told me I looked polished and gorgeous, and that's exactly how I felt in this dress!

Sparkle and Shine
This necklace was amazing for my wedding! It added so much sparkle, and people kept telling me I looked like a princess. I wore it with the Ben-Amun Something Borrowed Earrings and they went together beautifully. I got so many compliments on my jewelry that I lost count!! The ONLY tricky part was that the necklace hung a bit lower than I wanted with the neckline of my wedding gown, even on the smallest setting, so I actually had my maid of honor fix the clasp to the necklace body instead of the loops and that brought it to just the right spot. After that it was perfect and I wore it all night, even at the after-party in my Bride t-shirt and sweatpants!!

Perfect Sparkle
These earrings were absolutely perfect for my wedding! They sparkled beautifully and were just the right size and weight. If you're considering renting these go for it!! I wore them with the Tova Stargazer necklace for extra WOW (because if the bride can't bling then who can!?) and I got so many compliments on my jewelry that I lost count!!
