Gorgeous gown! Not only was the fit flattering, but the dress itself was comfortable, and the sequins were not bothersome on my arms. I have a larger upper body (shoulders/arms) and I didn't feel like a NFL linebacker either. Would love to wear again one day.

I wore this dress for a charity gala that was gold-themed. It's not heavy and is gorgeous in person. I enjoyed wearing it and feeling glamorous for an evening. Got so many compliments on the dress! The 6 did fit but oddly made me look wide in the center. The 8, which I wore, fit better and did not make me look boxy but was a bit big in the bust. It never fell down or anything but if you're smaller-chested keep that in mind. It's longer in the front which made it hard to walk up stairs until I started gathering the front versus the sides to walk. And lastly the zipper is really hard to zip!

The blue is much different in person which made it difficult to match a tie. Dress itself is super fun and fit great. Perhaps a bit tight in the chest area if you were bigger busted -- I'm not so it was okay.

I wore this dress for an outdoor wedding ceremony/indoor reception in early August. It was 80 degrees at ceremony time and I was still very comfortable with the dress. In terms of sizing, I can wear a 6 or an 8 depending on style of a dress. With this one, I went with the larger size only because of the fit of the dress on top. The fabric is VERY tight around the arm holes/chest area. Keep that in mind if you have a larger bust or bigger shoulders/arms. Besides that fact, this dress was awesome. I received many compliments on the fun pastel pattern and the fabric is really cool, too – it's almost waffle-y. (A wedding guest asked to touch it while I was waiting in line in the bathroom!) The skirt is long enough to cover your goods and there's a great dip in the back that shows some skin but still allows you to wear a strapless bra without it showing. Definitely recommend this dress!

The dress is more blue than black as you can see in the photo of me. The back of it was stunning with all of the criss-cross straps. The zipper does get held up a bit around the ribbon part of the waist so you will need someone to help you zip/unzip. The dress at a 6R hit the floor with no shoes, so I almost opted for flats but felt that for the event I needed heels, so only did a kitten heel. The lace overlay is beautiful but the back of it kept getting stuck in my heels so I needed to pick it up often when I walked, especially up and down stairs. I received many compliments on the gown and it was extremely comfortable to wear. I was able to wear a strapless bra with no issues of the back of it showing. One thing I was uncomfortable with at first was that under the lace overlay, the dress is sort of snug. I didn't like that it showed off my pear-shape, but I was reassured that the overlay hid any imperfections.
