I rented this for a November wedding; I selected a size 16W and 18W for back-up. Although the 16W fit, it was quite big and I wished I had gotten the 14W as my backup. I suggest getting whatever size you typically wear, and then one size smaller for your backup. Also, be mindful of your height! The dress was very long as I am very short-- had to wear slightly higher heels to make up the difference. The dress is comfortable, aside for minor irritation from the back of the arms rubbing on the sequence. Received several compliments during the course of the night--- overall, a successful rent.

I wore this dress to celebrate my friends birthday; we went out bar hoping in NYC on a chilly April night and I was the only one who was not cold because of the sleeves on the dress. The dress runs a little small; I personally would probably have preferred one size up. Overall, very happy with this rent (which was my first)! I liked it enough to rent the same dress in green the next year for Halloween, so that's saying something!
