I really wanted to wear this dress out, but the fit was a slightly large on me. The chest area was loose, and the length is just a tad too long for comfortable heels (~2-3 inches). Not wanting to give up an otherwise good rental, I opted for a nice evening in with takeout, a movie, and a book. The best part about this dress though is that it has pockets! If I had a petite size for this dress, it would have been perfect for a formal event out.

My favorite part of this dress is the shoulder detail. It adds the perfect amount of spark to create elegance for this dress, which would otherwise be a little boring considering that it is a navy dress with no other frills. The look is overall a bit more mature and think is perfect for a night out for an orchestral concert, ballet, opera, or play, followed by a nice dinner.

The moment I tried on this dress, I just felt amazing. It fits true to size without any gaps or bulging in unwanted places. The bottom is gathered a bit in the back, which twirls out nicely with dancing. The overall look is elegant, dazzling, and sexy. This dress was perfect for a formal (black tie) wedding.
