I found the fit to be true to size and was lucky because this was my back up outfit. The color is a blue-red, and the material thick and elegant feeling. A little long in the waist for me (even with a Petite size) so I had to keep tucking it up under a belt, but not a big deal. The top is tight and I have a small bust.

I usually wear a 6 and the 42P fit perfectly for me. I don't like things too tight, it was snug in all the right ways. Nicely tailored. Pockets. The length hit at my ankles which was nice to show off cute heels.

Pros: Gorgeous color, nice, heavy material, interesting back. Cons: Need to be long-waisted as the straps in the back buckle if you aren't. Also the 4R was too long but the P was not available for my dates. The double split in the front makes it difficult to hold a martini and life the side of the dress for walking up stairs.

Dress is gorgeous but of a thicker material than appears. The size 8 I put on had a slight tear along the zipper. As mentioned by someone else, the fabric catches easy as it is woven versus something like a silk.
